I have spoke direct to PMO about potential asset purchases and they have said one thing is for sure if they made any purchases it would only be on the condition that it paid the debt ratio down quicker. Anyone asking why they would want to buy more the answer is plainly there are a lot of sellers in the North Sea more sellers than buyers if they can pick up already producing assets at a good price they will. There could well be share be shares issued to pay for these assets but once the dust settles it will hopefully put pmo in a better position!

Could anyone please summarise when we will have first oil? I understand they have had problems with hook up I bought originally at 60p a few days before alsitair stobie obliterated the sp to 31p and have since switched off so not as to wind myself up! Was wondering if they ever get the thing hooked up how long will it be untill first oil please??? Thanks guys!

DK I fully agree but it could be months before we hear anything Chevron have not even set a date for final bids but expect it to take a few months at best.

Muchabout money while I agree about the future being good here. I have spoke to premier and listening to Tony D I would doubt dividends will return before we get debt down to 1.5 billion. It would also be wise not to pay them before this as we want a strong company going forwards with a safety margin for any future problems that could arise!!

Dispite made up rumours that final bids have to be in for chevron in the next few weeks chevron have not at present set a date for final offers so will be some time off yet. Phoned up to get this information as couldn’t trust the rumours on here. Premier are extremely disappointed at the newspaper article it was premature and they suspect it was from a competitor, this has been harmful to PMO sp which is probably exactly why it was leaked. I have been assured of any purchase made of chevron or any other assets that it would be on the basis they could pay the debt down at a quicker rate as a ratio. At present there are a lot of assets up for sale in the North Sea, more sellers than buyers it’s premiers duty to consider them all and if there right they will be bid for them!!

There no definite it will go ahead, but buying chevron was not just a story or PMO would of outright denied it in the RNS they issued!!

I don't think anyone could say Jay. Personally I think they defiantly want chevron, but it depends on wether they can persuade the banks to be flexible enough. They could easily sell Zama once fully proven up for 500m ash then will only owe banks 1 billionish, with 50-65k a day barrels thats good for premier with Uk tax credits its just wether the banks can be persuaded
