I find it odd how people who sell out feel the need to tell everyone why and then continue to look for any hint imaginary or not that they did the right thing.
If you sold at a loss you must of agonised over the decision before you did it and made up your mind that it was the right thing for you to do.
why then do you need to try and get that opinion validated here?

share price wise it would be better if Indian approval landed first as we might get a lift from that and then FDA after where as once FDA lands Indian approval is kind of redundant.

they wanted herd immunity and now going for it while saying they are doing everything they can. (while lining the pockets of their mates)
One bright spot was that it was the elderly tory voters who where most at risk, now it seams that is not the case :(

I am not sure we want to sell into uk.
I think tbh it might be a problem for us if we get an approach to buy us out.
The most likely candidates for this are now either Danaher or one of the two companies it owns which we are already linked to none of which are uk based.
If we have that UK NHS contract the Government could use the recent changes in the law to say any buy out is against national interests and stop it dead in its tracks.
We are so interlinked now with Danaher that it seams (if everything goes smoothly) a move from them, in some form or another to buy us out makes a lot of sense.
To be honest they have probably got out current MMcap in petty cash.
Just a thought.
Personally i think our Governments behaviour is going to end up in court unless they can gaslight there way out of it.

that is about 9k a day per machine or 45k a week
to reach GDR#s 1.5 million a week stated first aim that is 34 machines working at full capacity for 8hrs a day.
I have no idea how many of these units are in an average lab and we have to assume that not all will be testing for covid. These pieces of kit are not cheap at all. Is it common to have a single unit or two or 30 ?
To make sizable sales for GDR there needs to be many machines working flat out. First aim 34.
The first lab needs to very quickly be followed by others.

Saliva is much easier to get a sample and less likely to have a error in collection but has less of a viral load than the samples from Buccal swabs. Buccal swabs are horrid to take and can cause discomfort where as spitting in a tube is relatively easy and most, even some people on here should be able to do it without too much of an issue. :)
you are right though its is now saliva and that is another improvement.
For the future this connection of GDR and Beckman has huge potential. The number of other tests which could be automated using this tech and Genedrive's testing beads format could revolutionise lab based diagnostics, but like everything GDR, potential needs to be converted to hard cash in the bank at some point or all is for nought. (way to many commas in that sentence). :)

i am not sure they have changed the test i think they just use Beckmans RNA extraction procedure which works on saliva. I will have a read and see what i can find.
Any major changes to the test would require more approvals and we have had no notification of those i think.

also Beckmans have a branch in Dehli :)

GHIF have no interest in the hearing test at all that is a 1st world problem.
they do however have a huge interest in the HepC test which is one of there targets to reduce as there are new effective treatment which are very cost effective.
