i would like to see at least one other major customer say DIVCO just for a bit of leverage
having all our eggs in one basket would worry me slightly.

i wont bother insulting you but i will correct you factually I am not a distressed investor i am a very happy with my investment in GDR.
As for NCYT test it is poor mate. i think you wouldn't be here so violently defending it if it weren't.
It was first to market at a time when everyone needed a cd19 test it and NCYT did very well. Unfortunately now other companies (including GDR) have produced better and more accurate tests (thats kinda how things happen) If NCYT or the market was happy with its product it wouldn't be redesigning it.
i think your going to have a bit of a shock when it comes to approvals this time round. Jugding by the length of time approvals for tests are taking everyone else. I also think that trials will be more stringent this time round and that is assuming you they have no problems designing these new tests.
if the market had confidence in NCYT test why has it share price dropped by £2 a share?
I am quiet at liberty to express an opinion here "i am not sure it is possible to " baselessly ****talk behind the back of other companies" but the idea amuses me. please don't tell NCYT i have been ****ging them off i sure that would upset them.

if you want a proper chat about the pros and cons of both tests i would love to but please leave the macho bull**** at the door and remain civil. ( I would actually be really interested in what you have to say about NCYT i was considering taking a small position there.)

i expect a considerable amount of bull spouted on here (almost certainly some of it by me )
followed by either a small rise or a small fall (depending on how short of dinner money the MM@s are)

looking just at the figures you have a point but its not just about the figures NCYT product is now out of date it served a purpose at the start of pandemic when 80% accuracy was all there was now it just won't wash.
They have a huge job to reinvent there test to look at 2nd gene to be more accurate ect. then they have approvals to get through and trials ect
This and other factors (maybe even sentiment) has a factor in there present valuation.
using them as a yard stick against GDR maybe slightly useful but taken with a pinch of salt and other factors need to be taken into account.

NCYT are having to redesign there test because it is ****......... they have months of RND then months of trials and approvals ahead of them.
At one point they there share price was £5 they had an MMcap of 350M.

I would say that there is no market more likely to take the upper end of the pricing which GDR placed on the test, therefore would expect tests into the USA to be at £10 a test. If your not going to charge £10 a test in USA where are you going to?

does it get to a point where a share is too expensive for the day traders where the jumps would be to much in pounds and pence for them to make there 10% realistically?

i think you misunderstand my question Safy. it is quiet simply have you been told that DIVOC are not using Beckmans machines?
I am not suggesting that there is any other link between Beckman and DIVOC (i think that to be incredibly unlikely ) There is however a Beckman office in Delhi and it would be interesting (purely interesting i not sure it would have any impact on anything materially) if they were using Beckman machines.
There is no way that there is anything more between Beckman and DIVOC except a the obvious link through GDR.

that is a very interest thought i had not looked at it that way.
If the removal of the adding liquids stage and the ability to leave sample at room temp during preparation stages can make a significant difference to reducing the time each batch takes (which i am sure it will) It will have significant value to Beckman and to end users. So it is not just that the test itself is quicker its the whole process.
Very interesting to see if there is a Beckman link to the Indian lab being developed by DIVOC.
