There was a 25 million share transaction at 0.085p yesterday. It was reported only today, and it's not clear whether this was a buy or a sale. Nevertheless, it's quite encouraging.

Hi there Manwell02. It's worth bearing in mind that the Kirkham Abbey Formation at West Newton may not be the best candidate for a proppant squeeze. It's not like the sandstone reservoir at Wressle which had modest porosity and permeability before the squeeze job. The dolomites and limestones at WN do have some porosity, but it's not linked by any (or much) connecting permeability. In my opinion, they may get a short puff of gas, but they'll be lucky to get a sustained flow rate of 300,000 cu. ft per day. So let's hope that I'm not being over-pessimistic.

IMO this is a very disappointing (but not entirely surprising) outcome.

Aimshame, Here's a quote from EOG's RNS on Tues 10th Feb: "The WRAP Retail Offer is expected to close at 16:30 on 11 February 2026. Eligible shareholders should note that financial intermediaries may have earlier closing times". The 11th of Feb was yesterday, which was a Weds, so NOT closing on Tuesday. I'm sorry but this correspondence is now closed, as far as I'm concerned. GP

It may well be that I've been luckier than many LTHs. However, I asked my broker firsdt thing yesterday to get me 2MM shares in the WRAP to add to my current 10MM shares. This will result in my owning a smaller percentage of the company than at present. In any event, I'm prepared to wait and see how many shares I actually receive.

I've merely reported what my broker told me by e-mail. Rather obviously, the new shares aren't available yet and presumably won't be in my account until after the EGM. That's assuming the vote goes in favour of the placing and WRAP.

Hi Aimshame. I assume what they meant is that those participating in the WRAP wouldn't be diluted, or not by very much. Of course, those not in the WRAP will be diluted quite a lot IMO.

An interesting comment in today's RNS: "..... In determining the amount of scale back, the Company sought to avoid overall dilution of existing shareholders who participated in the WRAP Retail Offer". This my explain why my broker (Killik)was able to obtain all the shares I asked for. Mind you, they are still going to charge my usual commission rate for their help in arranging it.

Rather surprisingly my broker, Killik, has just advised me that I got all the shares (2,000,000) I applied for in the WRAP. I'm now wondering if the total WRAP allocation has been increased asthere hasn't been an RNS (yet) to say the scheme has closed early.

Hi brightfuture. There's perhaps one factor in favour of a successful Cloughton well which I haven't mentioned: the new well will be a deviated well, whereas the original well was a straight forward vertical well. This should mean that there will be a greater length of the formation exposed in the new well which could allow more gas to flow. But a better than x 30 fold improvement is still a very big ask, IMO.

IMO they will really struggle to get a decent gas flow rate from Cloughton as the original well tested at only about 30,000 cu ft per day. To get a potentially commercial flow rate of (say) 1 million cu ft per day, Europa would require a x 30 fold increase. I've not heard a conventional fracc job, let alone a proppant squeeze, doing anything like that. However, I could be wrong. More recent conventional fracc jobs, particularly in the USA, may have been better. And regarding their getting sensible farm-out terms for Cloughton, when I showed it to a geologist friend he laughed like a drain.

I'm hopeful that we'll see the first Quarterly RNS / Statement from UJO before the month end. There arte still 4 more trading days until then.

Hi Mirasol. I'm rather doubtful, yet again, about what Winnifrith has to say on this particular topic. To the best of my knowledge UJO has no accommodation in London, nor even a registered address there. UJO's registered address is on Charlotte Street in Bath and it's is shared by several other companies as it's the UJO company secretary's business address. So, yet again, it's caveat emptor wrt. Winnifroth.

My last message was a complete mess. I meant to say "I searched for Thomas John Zacchaeus Winnifrith on the Companies House website. He has been a director of more than 10 companies but seems to have left most of them in about 2010. Many of them appear to have been dissolved around that time or subsequently." So he might not be exactly a paragon of virtue himself!

Hi itsawrap. As I'm reading the RNS, It's Americano that currently owns 4.73 % of UJO despite no TR-1. Phillips currently holds only 31,250 ordinary shares , which is far less than 1%..
