The most likely explanation is that the intended target (which is where the well is intended to penetrate the correct part of the reservoir doesn't directly underlie the production facilities, or whatever well site they were able to lease.I see that the reservoir isdescribed as consisting of several compartments on Beacon's website.

It's only a blind guess, but I'm assuming that neither Egdon nor Heyco know what's in the CPR yet. if they did, I assume they might possibly have released it once they had shareholder approval for the takeover. I'm left wondering why it's taking so long to produce what should be a fairly straight forward report. All the best, GP

that the number of eligible shareholders voting in favour was only just over 75%. So, if only n that basis, it was quite close run .

Egdon is pleased to announce that at the Court Meeting and the General Meeting, each convened in relation to the proposed Scheme and held earlier today, approval of the relevant resolutions at each meeting was obtained.

This time the votes cast for each AGM Resolution and the relevant percentages have been announced promptly, so I suppose we should be grateful. It seems to me, though, that the Resolutions 6 and 7, which were Special Resolutions, only just got through. I believe that such resolutions need a 75% approval level but would be pleased if someone could confirm whether this is right - or not. The voting for the two Special Resolutions was as follows:

Resolution 6: Authority to allot a limited number of shares for cash free of pre-emption rights:

77.92% Approval

Resolution 7: Special Resolution: Share buyback:

77.91% Approval

Pboo has asked "Can some one point me to an RNS or an interview with DB, where he says treasury share will not be used for Directors Dividends". I attended the AGM last week and that's almost exactly what David Bramhill said, except that he said the shares would not be used for directors' bonuses.

Our share price fell by about 5% yesterday and I'd have expected another fall today based on the admission of the 810,810,811 shares for the Italian asset. We now have 9,988,198,720 shares in issue which is about another 8.8% increase in our shares. All this in return for an asset which will, IMO, add no immediate value

IMO the CPR is not yet available in its final form but no doubt in the meetings that will have taken place (presumably between Egdon as the Wressle operator and ERCE as the consultant preparing the CPR_ there will have been some eary indications about what kind of numbers might be in the CPR document but no final figures. Enough info to give a wink to Egdon, maybe?

Hi Tovoc. The long awaited release of the CPR certainly seems to be taking its time. I'd not be surprised if Petrichor's takeover of Egdon is "done and dusted" some time before we see it. While the CPR may not therefore make much, if any difference to the outcome of the Egdon takeover, if it's a favourable report showing a significant increase in the oil-in-place, then it can't be too late to help us and Union Jack. IMO of course.

Hi moniman. You've got that right regarding the WN licence. In fact, it's been a very long time now since new Onshore UK licences were awarded to anybody. However, what I think will count more in our case is whether we have a WN development plan which has been approved by the NSTA. The current WN well approvals that we have from East Riding Council will, IMO, count for next to nothing if we've not got an approved DP.

The June 2023 Energy Council Webinar in which Will Holland participated has recently been posted on the website. It's included under "Presentations". But not the material shown at the 8 June Retail Investor Event, which apparently had quite a lot of new info about Inishkea and Wressle. This seems skightly odd to me as I'd have thought the AIM rules required such material to be made available to all shareholders, not just those present at the 8 June event.

Have we been told formally by Egdon or the Wressle partners when we can expect to see the new CPR from ERCE? I believe June has been mentioned but I can't find the relevant RNS, Anyway, it seems to me that if the CPR results come out in June or maybe just before the Petrichor deal concludes, then it could perhaps be argued that the result won't be a huge improvement on ERCE's last CPR. IMO this might mean that Egdon would be able to say to their shareholders "What a good deal we've secured for you at 4.5p per share". Or not, perhaps. On the other hand, if the CPR is delayed for a technical or even a commercial reason, then perhaps we can conclude that it contains excellent results in terms of additional Wressle reserves. We shall see!
