Grabbed a few.. That RNS is really not in the price. Incredible rerate likely to come here and key is to be in at a decent level. Have just added and happy to sit on these for a while... I suspect 2p will be seen pretty soon.

No way are they drilling Jamaica on their own... 40m plus IMO. (USD)

Seeing as my last post was stating that I did not think they would get a partner for Jamaica, or a well drilled, and that most majors are pulling a way from new basins, only a fool (maybe I am talking to one) would take that as a ramp! Hardly "talking it up"

I think I posted about 4 tweets on the matter.. Hardly "incessant" clearly hit a raw nerve though....

And for the record, I do stand by everything I said. I 100% think the warrants were dealt with in about the worst way possible ( in terms share price support and shareholder alignment)

in terms of providing the board with loads of free shares, it worked a treat.

It is not that Jamaica would not be profitable that is the issue, its the cost really of the drilling and the fact its a new basin, therefore you need a whole lot of infrastructure to be put in place that does not pre exist, at a time when the world is trying, and I say trying, to turn away from fossil fuels to "cleaner" alternatives..

BP are on record no new basins for them, Exxon are fully committed elsewhere.. I could go on, but this will need a big player to drill this and have the pockets to develop it..

That said, Brian is paid a massive amount so he should be able to deliver it.

Yes they will have to give up a huge amount of the licence. So maybe give up 60% - 70% (and not be operator) but get a free carry...

Clearly they are looking at flow rates and want to know the best flow rate they can achieve from this new portion of the field, whilst maintaining the reservoir integrity as long as possible.

They will be looking at pay, perforating and flowing IMO...

Yes there could be a problem but if there is it would be recent, you cannot sit on info like that these days due to modern tech.

You should do some reading around how bad lithium is for the planet - the Guardian seem to be finally waking up to the narrative. Clean cars but filthy mines and environmentally devastating...

Oil - spread the emissions around the world

Lithium - concentrate the severe emissions and pollution to the mining areas...

Bp announced this month they will never explore a new basin. That’s them out. She’ll are reducing basins from current 9 first to go likely the Permian. I don’t see Jamaica ever being drilled. Uog will likely lose the license.

Just look at all the money printing, particularly in US and the stimulus that is coming. Money is worth less and it should be more visible in the oil price (look at other commodities eg copper etc)

I think we will be looking at 100 USD oil very soon and that will be the prevailing price.

Factor in a discovery at QD (Personally I think its got a shot of being the largest accumulation in the KRG)

And then look at some comparatives

Tullow for example.

Add the debt to the mkt cap and its around a 3 billion pound play.

How is a slight cash positive play like Genel with 50% of the production and greater reserves valued at 1/6 of the price

Its all going to start correcting very soon.

I really think 250 - 300p will be here before the year is out, maybe more.
