The FCA will be under great pressure to not cause any big waves of disruption with UK banks at the current time, of that I am sure.. Causing issues for MTRO with a large fine would be very irresponsible.

So the Bond issuance process looks like a 2 day roadshow in London (started yesterday) then a transaction may follow in the near future subject to market conditions FYI....

Good thanks.. I think we have a perfect storm, fully expecting one of the declared shorters to start reducing (looks like Odey is pulling strings but greed is a powerful motivator).. No one will want to be holding this when it starts rocketing... In addition I suspect fresh II investment is coming in along with PI activity looking for price recovery at these very depressed levels. Its most certainly a time for popcorn and I am expecting these to do well from here.

Have to admit I find it very hard to find a good case to short metro at these low levels. Does feel and look like a coiled spring, just look at the price action today. They are struggling to hold this down now.

They could have but I doubt it. Remember he has made loads here already. Being too greedy now though and seems to have the ft in his pocket. I would suggest posters here start contacting the ft and asking how much odey is paying them as it’s starting to look very suspicious there too.

Odey has dropped the call clearly was not anticipating a positive trading update to be dropped with the bond issuance and went further in.. possibly a short term move but it’s gone wrong..
