“The voluntary lateral flow testing is straightforward, quick and with results showing after 30 minutes, it enables us to take swift action should a member of our team test positive,” said Pervez. “In turn, it offers them reassurance we are taking their safety seriously. By having the tests available and by testing staff on a regular basis we have both been able to maintain a safe working environment for our staff and for our customers to shop in.”
He added: “I would urge other businesses to consider lateral flow testing. It is easy, straightforward and gives reassurance and confidence to both workers and customers. It is another step in our ongoing battle against Covid.”
Good to see the roll out of LFT's in businesses...testing is essential to keep people at work is about to take off!!!
If the market truly does price a share in terms of its future earnings potential then I cant see why this is not possible, given we will have a gold plated government contract....I haven't seen anyone come up with any sums to the contrary. When you believe in a story its easy to get carried away, but when you look at the potential here the only trajectory is upwards from here on in....I know I will get a better return here than in any bank!
Even if you take a multiplier of 2.5x that gets us to £2.75 ish.
Aberdeen man hit the nail on the head with his "PATIENCE" mantra...however, I can also see how hard it is to be patient when you see this fluctuate so much. I think I should trade some of my portfolio but I haven't done so yet...although this has worked well for me on another share recently!
I don't hate traders, I envy them a bit as I in essence have missed out on 10%/20% swings each time this has bounced. I guess you are not going to trade it well every time so this could equal out anyway? (Balance of wins and losses?) How do they know when a sp has hit a sell point? JAdam/traders, do you use charts or just a guess at that moment in time based on a mysterious algorithm or is it just gut feel? Have you generally won/lost?
I would be interested to hear some real life stories so that we can all learn something...
ATB...
THanks to the traders/sellers over the last few days....I managed to bag some more at c.85p this morning. More golden tickets for the summer.
I am not a trader, although given the volatility I can see why some do it and take the risk. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!!
The stars are aligning and its just a matter of time before ODX starts to move properly (and yes, there have been several false dawns). The future earnings (as a result of the tests) will turn this companies fortunes around.
181m shares in issue.....expecting £200m profit for 2021 FY...
With a 5 x multiplier this puts the potential mkt cap at £1bn (multiplier could be higher!)
Current Mkt Cap £154m.
Potential SP £5.50
That's a potential 6 bagger from here with limited downside.
Looking forward to seeing how this plays out the next 6 to 12 weeks....
TWatcher - I think you are confusing an investment vrs a trade.
All businesses have to adapt, change strategy, move with the latest thinking - diagnostics in the current climate is changing rapidly. This is causing uncertainty and makes the SP fluctuate .
The bod are doing an astounding job - to get to the place where they can produce 2m tests from nothing in c.12 months is a minor miracle. The bod do deserve to profit from options, and I think this will keep them motivated to drive the business forward...
They stated the aim of 2m tests last year and the roadmap to that has already been formally communicated.
Yes the sp is frustrating, yes we await final order confirmations etc....but, the fact remains that this manufacturer is producing c.1m tests now and will produce 2m tests in April. This commands a much larger forward looking market cap. 3 to 5 x imo.
If you cant wait for the rerate and cant see this happening, then why are you invested?
The sp has increased 10 fold in the last year or so, and by c.50% plus since December. You will get at best 1% in a bank over a full year. ODX is not doing that bad is it?
I can wait for jam tomorrow if it gives my 50% every month or so...
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that ODX are working on producing more than 2m within the next 6-9 months...i think will be upwardz of 2.5m plus...
Looking forward to seeing an RNS update tomorrow or during the week following Bojo's 7pm update...
Its nights like tonight that remind me why I invest in companies. The patient research, the initial invetment, the regular top ups, the frustration, the constant questioning "have I got this right?" Working through the commercials and RNS's for the umteenth time. Readjng these boards, and tweets, the company updates and of course trying to impart what you learn and to hear what other people think on these boards. Filtering ouf the trolls is part and parcel of the journey
The writing has been broadcast from the rooftops...ODX are very well placed to capitalise on covid, as well as having other strings to their bow.
Great to hear they are achieving their production targets...as stated by the company time and time again.
As I said, this little manufacturing co is about to grow up. Those invested in ths last year are about to be well rewarded imo.
Like Aberdeen said tonight...If it doesnt pay off then feel free to have a moan at me...but I think that is the polar opposite of what is going to happen.
3 to 5 bagger incoming...
Hes now in the filter bin...suggest you all do the same.
The reason for the director sells was answered by several posters...and for tax reasons in co's under £30m turnover. Good luck to them, we are all gojng to make some dosh here in the next 12 months.
Other than that, what other mud can anyone throw?
Its not abuse Kevin its the fact you add Zero. You had the chance to add some value, and again you just bang on about nothing. You never have point of opinion that is balanced...it is always negative. You say you are fed up with the bod, directors sells...and yet we are gifted more opps to buy in under £1...I see that as a golden opportunity to buy low/average up...if you are not happy you could always sell and buy another company.
And you say people are trolling you after saying "Girdz man of low intelligence !"
Get a grip lad....the potential here is fantastic....not sure you will be happy even at £2.50. As they say you cant please all of the people all of the time!
Taffy...do you think the FDA would have included our product in the Actjve 2 trual if the home trial in the UK gave negative results???
I believe the UK home trial data is so good (but not fully analysed) that the US government had to put us on a trial wtlith 3 other huge products from global pharmacos - and start us 1st.
I think a punt is wide of the mark.
Not sure why people need to be rude and personal. Just no need. Kevin, I dont normally green bin anyone but for you I will makd an exception.
We are here to learn and add some value to help each other. You just seem to deramp without adding any substance, whh bother? No need to respond I wont see it.
I tell you what, make a comment that adds some value and isnt just noise...can you do it? I do hope you can.
All the best all. Looking forward to the impending orders..sounds from the tweet today that we will hear very soon.
Big Jock is not Colin King....I can vouch for that. I have had email convo with him and it was easy to see that he was not Colin.

We are way ahead, have a fantastic bod, have an Active 2/3 trial now, worldwide 20 country P3 trial now, home trial data coming out of our ears. Oh, and a patent protecting our broad spectrum antiviral which works with steroids...having been studied and perfected for 15 years.
That all said, we will sell ALL we can produce. So, worst case...the sp drives up here, then buy some Betterlife if you really think it has legs.
All the best...

The £50 was before the recent dilution...so more like £42 now, however who knows where this could go with covid 19 to be around forever...
I would be very happy with that!
Think RM said similar price to Remesdisvir af $3000 per treatment course.
If it is £1000, and if we can double production and a sensible multiplier £30 is very possible imo.
I can see a manic monday on Active P3 and possible EUA....£10 to £15....will be great to see this unfold.
Agree with the sentiment Phil. Will be interesting to see what price per treatment course we achieve (assuming positive p3 / active2).
I thought we were looking at £2000.....time will tell.
Just 3 weeks to P3 Active2 news
UK Home data April?
P3 20 country final dosing confirmed...timing tbc, hoping q2.
Manufacturing upscale quantities per month.
Loads to come...
I think the multiplier would be more like 5 x to 14 x for pharma upon successful launch and stockpiling.
We will see what quantity we can produce...I am hoping we get a nice surprise and the 100k becones 200k+
The next 3 months are going to be very interesting to see play out.
All the best...
Safe to say £30 to £50 is possible, but depends on how long the bod hold off a likely sale.
"I think we might not get orders announced until after Boris has laid out the plans (subject to any tweaks following the 'Daily Wail Pearl Clutcher' tests this weekend) on Monday evening - he won't want anything stealing his thunder. I think we might see details from Tuesday morning onwards."
BOJO likes a good old "today we have announced xyz and this is the start of the roll out of our plan to get us out of lockdown."
Monday is Bojo's announcement day...for lft roll out. Weve seen the 400000 per day in the press already.
Orders should start to be formally announced. Maybe even on Monday during the day...we will see.
IAGTBINAOTW I an glad to be in now and over the weekend!
Fingers crossed the is the start of the rerate.
