When people realise Roche can't deliver then the money will filter back over here. Roche can deliver what they can do but people seem to be thinking they can deliver the whole package. They can't and even if they could, it would only be a small percentage of what is needed. There is plenty of room for many companies in this emerging market. I have 5000 shares average 29p and all I want is to be able to pay for a delayed honeymoon then I will be out.

But if 10 car makers can supply 10,000 cars but the demand is for 10 million there is still no competition.

This test is not a home test. 100% accurate tests have been about for a while if you are prepared to send it to a lab for testing. The aim is for a home test which is accurate and reliable. Roche is doing this for a bit of publicity and maybe share price increase?

it isn't approved and wouldn't be guaranteed to be accurate enough for the government. It only says "evaluated" not officially approved. I would suggest your friend has possibly wasted their money especially if it says they are immune and it turns out they are not.

I think (me included) that people were surprised at how quickly this virus spread, nothing has come even close in many years and it made many governments realise they are exposed. Next few weeks will see many people pulling their pants back up but only after a reliable home test can be produced. Accuracy first and cost secondary. This test can save your life by proving you are safe....who is going to argue or barter over a price? It may soon be standard practice for firms to ask employees to take a test before they can start a job where they are in close proximity to other people. So many aspects people haven't thought of yet.

This virus will be around for the rest of time. The pandemic will be stood down but always in the background. there will always be a need for vaccines and testing.

Most of the do both so a bit difficult to give you an exact answer. Not trying to be rude but you could contact each one and ask them yourself. Also remember that these companies do a lot more than produce just t he one test.

Kicking myself for not buying at 49p this morning buy happy to hold as I have a good feeling about what is coming.
ELISA tests have been about and can test you for CD 19 for a while as it is a sample of blood taken from the arm and analysed n a lab. The offering from Omega is a pin prick test similar to those you use for testing blood sugar AT HOME. that is the main difference. Lots of tests are already there which you can send off to a lab and get a very accurate test back. There are NO pin prick tests commercially available and approved YET. Omega is the leader by a long way to get one of those types of test out to the general public which will (and this is the important bit) give you an accurate and dependable result . Compare it to a pregnancy test which is "usually correct" would you want to depend on that? Wait a bit longer and there will be an approved and accurate (to pregnancy level results) test available. there has been similar types for HIV in Africa for a while and it is a bit more than a case of adapting the test but it is along those lines. Considering how are they are along it is almost a miracle where they are today. There must have been a lot of people working like nothing else to get this on to the market. Yes people will make money from the shares and etc but keep your feet on the ground and remember this is a world issue and some things are more important than getting a "10 bagger". I have 5000 shares and am in this for a bit of money as well but respect the amount of work being put into this.
