First and foremost the public will have an easy to use and accurate device they can use at home to test for antibodies and prove a level of immunity. Yes when this comes out the lab tests will be secondary but not obsolete. A vaccine is many months if not years away so proving you have antibodies will be the way forward until then. Having antibodies does not guarantee immunity but means your body is able to deal with the virus when you get it.
There are a lot of internet doctors here and other people wanting instant return on their input. Sit tight and wait or put your money in something else don't use this board to moan about things. If you want a safe bet then put your money in premium bonds and rest easy.

Agree, Superdrug would not had been the first or even second choice for this test. Why would boots have passed? Because it isn't up to standard or they know another one is due very soon.

It is a home sampling kit and not a home testing kit. Easy to mislead the general public if you pitch the advertising one way.

You can't send off a pinprick sample to be tested only drawn blood. the pin sample will either dry out or not be sufficient to run over an ELISA test. They may be saying that they are for sale but can you actually buy one to try? I for one will see if I can get one and find out my results. Going to be a lot of angry people when they find out the reality. Not harmed heir share price though!
