Just had an email from Abbington confirming a AbC -19 rapid test antibody LFD is now available. Still "for professional use and not self testing". I will put my order for 25 (£250 + VAT) in and see what happens.

As an overall view I understood the LFD were there to detect and the PCR to confirm if a positive was picked up. Sort of a belt and braces approach and saves time.

my wife has done her innova test so she can teach today. one more out of the way before we get the UK made ones. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Lots of food manufactures stepping up testing to twice weekly in the area so lots of tests needed. Lets hope we get the good ones soon.

Drinking alcohol within two weeks of having the vaccine almost cancels out the effectiveness. You should have been told not to drink for 2 weeks afterwards. This is an issue with the vaccine protection in that people have caught Covid after receiving a vaccine and wonder why? It is because you drank too much afterwards and reduced the effectiveness of the vaccines cover.
