Yes, I agree, though Sodium is more in its infancy and as you say will as it stands onlybe suitable for lower powered models. this will be the game changer https://www.techradar.com/vehicle-tech/hybrid-electric-vehicles/teslas-cheapest-ever-ev-is-coming-and-it-could-be-almost-half-the-price-of-a-model-3 , as soone as ev's are comparable initial cost wise to petrol/diesel then the market will shift back again.
I dont think thats correct see link https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/feb/13/will-hydrogen-overtake-batteries-in-the-race-for-zero-emission-cars, there isn't enough green hyrdrogen available and to generate it isn't green, so completely misses the point of the battle for climate change (if you beleive in it). There are other issues with its tranports etc and the first car to go boom boom, will be interesting. Hydrogen car is just another curved tv gimic, its not the solution.
Afternoon Suzy and happy new year to you, lets hope this is a happy new year to all us holders in relation to this share. Sweden could be busy supporting Ukraine iron imports if it didnt consider reindeer mor eimportant that human life.

fe@cking joke govt, says it all about the swedish plitical system and bureaucracy when you need the threat of war to greenlight something that the govt now says it supports and is and is in the national interest, how many years has this saga gone on is it 14, ****s the lot of them....well it is late january i'm entitled to be surly.
Fact is nudge lost control, lost confidence, lost relationships, lost belief but didn’t lose sleep as he was asleep at the wheel pre and post concession. One can only hope and pray the 6 months review (that’s a lot of chocolate digestives to chew through) will deliver a proper plan with a clear deliverable and clear rimescale with a clear bought into strategy but most of all delivered competently. If not then you can forget your investment as it’s just a vehicle for the joke board to buy a penthouse
Wtf dont they know what theyve been doing or were planning to do, analysis of the current direction, consideration of the market conditions and strategy going forward needs 6 months!!!!, c'mon a CEO that needs 6 months to understand a strategy and formulate a new one at my expense is a fricking joke, I thought Nudge was asleep at the wheel, this lot dont even know where the wheel is nevery mind the direction. Joke company now.
I smirked at that one, so to deliver share holder value we take their investment reduce it and spend it on our salaries and promise of jam tomorrow. 6 month strategy targets please and be judged on hitting them.
Talking down you’re own investment isn’t a great strategy either, you could say a new broom, new traction and focus, CEO’s often turn around companies so you can rejoice that nudge has gone and discuss some strategies such as off loading Kosovo, even writing off stuff rather than throwing good money after bad. I do agree that the management has been poor so let’s hope for a decent ceo and transformation or jump ship
I'm going to have remain optimistic that a new hire will bring a focused professionalism and enthusiasm with a determination and focus to deliver and actually justify his position. Getting things right and by the book is indeed just run of the mill stuff and is an expectation of any one semi competent. I'm glad nudge has gone as I think he had become unfocused, jaded and complacent, i suspect that played a part in his departure. Lets hope a new captain turns the ship around.
None of us do, is the ship being steered to the rocks, treasure island or no one at the helm. I hope there is a map with an x on it that's being followed. I do blame Kurt for some of this mess as I think he became complacent whilst taking his coin and the complete lack of a plan when the concession was granted is incompetent or at least plain apathetic, nothing against the man , he's probably a nice guy but a even half decent CEO needs to have a plan to grow the share price for his investors not grow his bank account for a wander in the woods and become at one with himself and his pot of gold.
Nobody leaves on the same day unless some life changing event has occurred or a conversation is had with HR, certainly not for a sabbatical, I'm on my way to a conference, oh No I forgot I've decided today is the day to turn my back on all my responssibilites and pursue my dreams. Now i certainly don't want it to be for any negative personal issues and I would admire anyone pursuing their dreams but that takes planning and consideration not cancel the conference, I'm off to live in the woods right now stuff.
I do agree with your points.
There is nothing personal about my my swipe at any negative non shareholders I standby by it , I'm not directing it any one in particular, I naturally assumed you are a shareholder.
Fact is these recent distasteful exchanges are between very long term holders, I’ve been here at least 15 years, made some, lost some. Point is we all know each other and recognise the online personas. So if it’s a bit of a talking shop/cafe in between decent news so what. I have become disenchanted with nudge budge as I still don’t think it was of his own choice and if it was then he’s more of a knob for it. I recognise Pockos disenchantment too and resonate with some of what’s he’s been saying re the management of bem. That said there’s little to be gained from insulting, brow beating the bem massiff. chill out everyone , we’re all adults and Suzy’s made buck and still in it for the long haul as am I. As long as you’ve taken something off the table some optimism is better than negativity and yes I’ve shown that recently but then I’m still a shareholder if you’re not and being negative then you’re a sad prick and need to re evaluate your life, values and probably your inner id.
In my experience people leaving on the same day is never for a good reason. No succession planning, this was sudden and unexpected. No matter I do wish him well!.
As I suspected the market reaction is indifferent because he's not been delivering, well unless you call 2p a success, I'm sceptical about his departure because of that, you'd think he wouldn't want his lasting legacy to be the CEO who took sp to all time low and then jumped ship.
Kurt when interviewed today "I'm not Swedish, Ikea furniture is sh@t and takes 2 days to build, their meatballs are overrated too" on his reasons for stepping down "I'm not Swedish, Ikea furniture is sh@t and takes 2 days to build, their meatballs are overrated too, plus I dont know how to run a mining exploration company to create shareholder value, I hate snow and like to punch reindeers in the face"
