@Ebkent.... Thank you for "hijacking the board" in what for most of us Synners is a bit of a waiting time. I have also learned a lot from the replies you got from our very knowledgeable friends on this BB. I have been pushing pension/tax problems to the back on my mind for quite a while now, but your post, and the responses you got, have made me realise that at my age (and, it has to be said, with my medical conditions) I cannot use my aversion to paying professional fees as an excuse any longer for not doing what I KNOW I need to get to grips with !! Once again, thanks to you for the post and my sincere thanks to all respondents. GLA. Go enjoy the sunshine !!
M1... They are not REAL trades, they are MM's sending messages to each other. GLA
Algy I've also thought that about WedMe for some time, and was considering posting a question to that effect purely to satisfy my curiosity. I didn't, because the info has been so useful and I didn't want to sound as if I was accusing him/her of ramping up for financial reasons. However, I do think the info just TOO good for an "outsider". What makes you think WedMe is female? I would be more inclined to guess male. I don't want to be un-PC and put in print why I think that! GLA
mehta.... what's your guess? £15 ? £20? GLA
Has anyone any personal experience of good info coming "Acquisitions Daily" ? Replies would be appreciated.
Usain.... dropped 15.43% since then though !! GLA
Mrninjazx6.......
The Record Date is 30th October
Ex Date is 2nd Nov
If you buy on or before Record Date you will be entitled to Accustem shares. Buy on or after 2nd November, you get no Accustem shares. Simples......
@sixthree
" But of course I could easily be wrong about that ..."
....Now there's a thought......
Looks like another for the old green bin !! Where do they keep coming from ??????????
GLA...... GENUINE...... Synners.
@Ghia... I think that most Synners would entirely agree. I also think that approval to use SNG001 not too far off. This then could lead to a T/O, probably in the £40/50 region, maybe even within the current tax year.
If things worked out this way this could give me a personal tax problem, and that being that whilst most of my SYN shares are in ISA's, I still have about 80K (with an average sp of 80p) in a non-ISA holding. An early T/O (@good price) would be nice, but....... a build up to a sp of £100+ would be even better, and might give me (& others with my predicament) time to figure out how not to give a great chunk of capital gains back to an increasingly desperate tenant of No11 !!!
inbound, but too late for tonight?. GLA
@Mat.... How long do you think NUMIS will be keeping sp stable? Not deramping (I'm in far too deep for that!), but I am still undecided about taking up the offer shares. there's probably only a few pence in it, nevertheless.... GLA
I don't come on this board very often, can someone do a quick summary of WHERE we are now, WHY we are in that position, and WHAT our short term PROSPECTS are? I would greatly appreciate it. Thx in advance. GLA
Anyone care to guess SP's of both cos after the split? GLA
My best wishes also Waferthin.
Rogerthatsir. Thx for your thoughts. Much appreciated. I haven't sold any of my SNG at time nor do I intend to in the foreseeable, and I am planning to take up all entitlements. I am a fairly LTH but continued to stock up even at the highest level - which on reflection is a bit annoying. Still, my average is still considerably below placing price. Even the highest price I paid should look "small change" in the not-too-distant. GLA
@snowwoman....... Like you, I bank at HSBC and took out an ISA shares trading account with them. I do find the trades they do for me are sometimes better than I thought, but I have 2 niggles: 1. You cannot stay logged on (without use) for longer than about 6 mins - If you trade at different times of the day, you need it to be there when you want it !! niggle 2: If you place a limit order, it can only be changed by ringing them up. In covid times this really is not a good option. All in all, I prefer using one of the accounts I have with EQI except that you have to do a certain number of trades before their charges become reasonable. If you find any better providers, please let me know as I too plan to change. Sorry folks, nothing to do with SYN, but perhaps others might have better choices than HSBC, in which case all info appreciated. Thx. GLA Synners.
???
@Rogerthatsir.... what are your personal thoughts on the likely sp after the 26th?? GLA
If the sp stays between 190 and 200 over the next few days, does anyone think there is any chance of an excess application being successful? GLA
@gollumk..... With all that money in the bank there is no longer any reason to consider a T/O. Being practical, most people would think that SYN is worth some single figure of billions at the moment. With successful end to phase 3 (which could be stopped early if early results show outstanding results) the value of the company would be astronomical. Certainly not in SINGLE FIGURE billions!!!! GLA
