George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Brighty......... A T/O (at least in the near future) wasn't my "end goal". With IP as good as CLAIMED, I was expecting a SP of at least double the Numis valuation before anyone even considered a T/O. Only then could we expect a "fair value" offer. But now.....
I think the best we can hope for is that a bid doesn't come too soon. Because of SYN's unbelievably poor PR, the present SP (and it could go much lower) is a fraction of the true worth of the IP, and any bidder would be able to use the exceedingly depressed SP to their advantage (and investors loss). Remind me, .......... who does RM work for? Some good PR desperately needed - preferably in the form of a new CEO. GLA
benm....... As I have said before, RM is clearly not the man for the job & needs to be replaced, URGENTLY. Otherwise other companies will pass the ever......so.......slow Synairgen and get all the business. We'll be a company left at the side of the road and investors will be very much out of pocket. Before anyone says that RM is also an investor, remember he has done very well out of our money so far, and with other pharmas money (yet to show itself) I am sure RM will do very well PERSONALLY. In the circumstances as they have been allowed to evolve by the BOD. A naturally suspicious kind of person could be forgiven for wondering if RM is working for another company already. ps I am very heavily invested in SYN. GLA
as at now - sho
Merchantman..... well said, that just about sums it all up. In case RM doesn't read this BB, why don't you mail him a copy? GLA Long suffering Synners.
nessab......... If you are using on LSE's figures, then DON'T! LSE's algorithm for deciding whether a trade is a buy or a sell is rubbish. delayed trades rarely show up correctly. Basically they decide "buy" or "sell" based on the mid price at the time the trade is published, not at the time that it was actually made. Crazy thing is, it wouldn't take an IT genius to work it back to real time, and be able to show a listing more likely to be correct.
......going to add to our woes, does anyone think? GLA
As Tyla so rightly said, we are all only here to make money. Ignoring the prospect of a T/O, would anyone like to speculate when the Synairgen line in our investment accounts might show decent numbers again? GLA

"The only positive is that the door is now wide open for a take over."
Even a few days ago, I would have been strongly against a T/O 'cos I thought that we needed to have lots of orders in for us to get a fair offer . But after this morning's diabolical offering, then as long as it wasn't GSK (for obvious reasons I won't put on record), I would tent to agree with you. I am very heavily committed here, much more than I would like to admit, but the prospect of "life-changing money" seems to be slipping too far into the future for me. In the course of this morning, a T/O soon, now seems to be a better prospect. That way, I might get back my money. GL anyway.

"But it seems like most people on aim only care about presentation delivery..."
Have you only just realised that on AIM sentiment is all ........ and the quality of delivery of an idea or plan is often an important factor to the target's perception, and consequentially, their sentiment. Logic and facts rarely move things much on AIM, and I can give you a long list of previous AIM companies, good companies with good product, that have now gone bust 'cos they thought otherwise. Good PR is money well spent for any company, AIM or main market. I'm not suggesting SYN is going to go bust, merely that they could get to where they want to be (and should be) much quicker if the BOD started thinking strategically instead of JUST about the science. GLA
With a presentation that seemed to focus on the negatives in the data rather than the positives (and what those positives could mean to the world), RM clearly not doing SYN any good. If he went on Dragons Den with this presentation, I definitely think he would be going home empty handed! Maybe a different front person is needed for the company. Perhaps RM should stay VERY QUIET in a back room in future. GLA
......just get mugged?? As a first time buyer (at today's high), it feels like it !!! GLA Not for Pharmas...

trendz......... go back to your nova board....... quickly please !
Bline......... you've missed one important factor, which is. that to beat the MM's, the day traders and shorters (not of whom have the slightest interest in whether or not a company is worth investing in), you need to have PATIENCE and STEEL BALLS !!! GLA LTH
Tyche.......... "The challenge is not supply, it is demand" ??????????????
Think u got this the wrong way round.......... GLA
I hope that I am right in thinking that a T/O is not on the cards at this stage of the game.
hawkes... "corrupt" isn't quite the right word, "corrupt tree-shaking" covers it better. lets face it, MM's will need a lot of shares later in the week. they would prefer them to be shares that they got "on the cheap". GLA.
From a financial point of view, I am currently very heavily committed to ODX but my confidence in the BOD and their governance protocols have taken a severe battering with today's RNS. Why no mention of Brady's dismissal? I will be pulling out all the money that I have not been able to get out at a reasonable price so far as soon as it is practical to do so. I do not like to invest in companies run by incompetents. A de-ramp? You betcha !!!!!
