Seems vast have so many irons in the fire in different areas , but this latest focus on the african potential has come at a time when everyone was focused on BP and its delays, Is this a deliberate tactic do you think? to shift the balance of focus away from BP as they may be expecting delays, etc. Also this extra focus on africa and potential value may soften the drop if BP is delayed. Not de ramping as I'm in vast with a much higher percentage than the rest of my portfolio. but just thinking through the possible moves ahead.

38000 litres I've just seen on a trailer tanker manufacturers site, some will be different due to build materials, this'll be gross truck weight of 44 tonnes. Not sure how many litres in a barrel in oil and gas talk probably a US measurement. std european barrel 205litres.

Ive read a few good things about Tekmar, not sure what all i should be checking to evaluate if they are a good share to buy! Any pointers i should be looking at in fundamentals etc ( i don't know much about that) ?
We see Tekmar cable and pipeline protection systems being used in cable lays and installations offshore , increased lately over the last 6 years on the wind farms so thier business will have mushroomed since the offshore wind farms grew popular.
The research I'm doing at present is to see what tenders for new offshore wind farms are being planned and when.
Im sure Tekmar is a viable operation although they've just taken over subsea innovation ( family ties i think) not sure this will be so lucrative, and possibly just a burden to finance along the way. They make pipeline repair tooling and various Launch frames for ROV systems etc a bit bespoke and very reliant on buoyant offshore business prospects. Pipeline repair skids will make good money but will likely be rare opportunities that come along every couple of years i'd think.

Spike , i agree it looks very promising , but probably risk is one of the reasons I'm not rich! if you remember the GGP time last year waiting for results of JV or takeover, it turned sour eventually even though it all looked promising. For that reason i'm just in for a small amount about £1000 at present , i may lose the advantage of the first big rise if all goes well , but can't afford to lose another pair of socks!

I know this blog is causing a stir, but what has changed otherwise, quite a sp drop with nothing but rumours an assumption on some pro Alba blog

i'm thinking of buying more but , not sure whether to see if it drops a bit more , or just go for it now.

How many explorations can they afford to do without either selling one as a discovery or monetising ? i think I've been duped for a long time here !

listening into the meeting i think its in the bag, planning officials are labouring points in their defence over thier reasons for supporting the operation!
