Right I've got a norton and a triumph and a TY250 all needing rebuilt in the garage and i can't pull myself away from watching shares on the computer! what i need is a suggestion of a few shares that i should pick and leave and won't need looking at constantly ...its becoming a bad habit!! as i don't really know what I'm doing anyway!
any suggestions??

Whats happening over at I3e , did they not get the funding or something , I've lost touch with that one, just saw the drop and wondered if theres scope to make a bit on its climb back?

Personally i think everyone got fixated on the majors being an oil producer, which is to be expected, But between the lines since the oil downturn both BH and Shlum are actively positioning themselves to grow as producers.
we could be in a position with shell or exxon or the likes which would have been great but the big service companies would be there planning, formulating and assisting oil removal from the wells.
Now we have thier technology and expertise onboard in an incentivised position to work solely with the same interest as FRR - to harvest oil for profit!
This is interest from the knowledgable service companies won't be going un noticed by the major producers who are often in a position to use BH and Shlum to consult on thier own interests.
I think its just a case of letting things pan out and i think this will grow serious momentum, there is still nothing to stop a big fish coming an and wanting a piece of the action, the interest is more noticeable now.

Aye your right , them and cb900's had 2 cam chains if i remember rightly, ( i had a few cb 900s ) i blew up the last cb900 and put a gsx1100 motor in it with modern wheels and running gear it was a right handful then! that was back in 91 ish !!

those fizzles are worth a load now, the cap classics have climbed hugely in the last 4 or so years, I'm still desperate for an old twinshock cbx, the engine is great looking. also have just started building another bonnie so no doubt that'll be an eternity to get finished( too many other distractions!)

Thanks for the info telephone man, i was looking at PHE and have bought a small amount , will keep doing so as i can afford for longer term i think. Also whilst looking at this I've been watching SAE which are constantly dropping the SP, they are mainly into tidal turbines (which i think are great I'm a subsea ROV engineer so interested in such tech) but they are now trying to get some coal fired plant up and running in a cleaner manner, although my reservation was it possibly won't be that clean! so another "smoke and mirrors " enviro project!
So although i worked offshore with the CEO of SAE my money i think will be going in here as only the cleanest forms of recycling or waste to energy projects will have decent futures i believe.

Ive been looking at the benefits of gasification vs normal incineration of plastic/mixed waste pellets can't see anything on the web that give details of emissions in the 2 different circumstances, I'm looking at PHE for the gasification stuff which sounds far superior that the SIMEC theory of just rejuvenating old coal fired plants to use mixed pellets as fuel as i think the emissions will be still fairly high , especially sulphur which i guess plastic will give off when burnt due to its hydrocarbon origins.

when a price is drifting down like this share is and you say a rerate could happen , will it just rerate or does it need a cause to rerate like news or suchlike?

maybe this old fella is just taking a while to get going , i know i do!

looks like it will continue dropping ! hope not!
