There is a problem in the UK with unfettered immigration from certain cultures who do not have the same western values. Until the leaders of this country face up to it it will get worse and is getting worse.

Agree HardDown when I interviewed people for a job I wanted the best person I thought would be best for the job and who would fit in with the team. I didn't care what colour or sex they were.

To take people on to fill a quota dilutes your workforce you should always strive to employ the best people you can out of who applies. There has been the odd occasion when all the candidates for a post haven't been good enough and we had to readvertise that is how employment should work. DEI should be abolished in this regard.

I was surprised end of September was mentioned particularly as they have end of year results and first quarter production results in October it is no big deal for me as we will be updated then at the latest I would have thought. I don't see it as a missed deadline more like a nice to be told but happy to wait a little longer. Chill out see what October brings not long to wait now.

Listened to part of Reeves speech so boring I switched off what I heard was mainly soundbites and whinging about the Tories and Reform. Farage is living rent free in the Labour party's head they are petrified of him. He hardly has to say or do anything and they are circling the wagons it is entertaining to watch.
