Although I do appreciate some of it could be offset with house movers having potentially more cash for home improvements and the knock on effect that has in terms of local employment and VAT.

Whilst I don't disagree with the idea in principle it is projected to bring in £12 to £13 billion each year over the next few years on average and the Tories will have to find that amount to replace it.

One of the reasons to claw money back given is to reduce the public sector but every government keeps promising this and the numbers keep going up. On that basis I would prefer the tiered one we have but increase the threshold before it applies. Unlikely they will get in anyway at the moment so can promise anything when there isn't much chance of it happening.

Thank you. It is very rewarding troublesome last year I got a young African lad through his Maths. His mum and dad came round to thank me personally I only take ones that are doing quite badly but they have to be committed to do the work you can usually tell in the first couple of meetings who are and who aren't. Coming to me is usually a good sign as it shows they do care and want to have a go that is all I ask.

Had a couple drop out in the last 5 years I have done it but never had one fail who has stuck it out. One lad has joined the police and another young girl is now training to be a nurse. Most of them get a job. I see the odd one or two of them round town every now and again and they always stop for a chat let me know how they are doing.
