Given Novacyt already have a commercial relationship with Pfizer that’s who my monies on for the OEM

The manufacturing base of a pharma giant producing Novacyt kits under their branding giving a royalty per unit to us.

It’s free money. No overheads. No supply chain to manage just cash on the bottom line.

If it is Pfizer then they have landed the worlds largest fishing boat to catch fish in possibly the worlds largest market.

Great to see a UK company right at the forefront of leading the world effort on testing/screening which is the only thing that will halt this in the year of 2020.

That’s fact. No vaccines likely till 2021 so focus needs to be on best in class testing/surveillance kits. Novacyt have that. Yes other labs can set up their own protocol but you still need the test kits. Why use any other when this is quite simply proven to be the most effective and swift.

Can see this over £4 this week and likely double that by month end.

That’s the reason for the OEM.

Pfizer or whoever it is with can brand and manufacture the test to be American made.

I would have expected the FDA are under pressure to only fast track USA manufactured kits.

The OEM in my opinion clearly needed to be in place prior to FDA approval.

Under the OEM Novacyt will get a royalty. So it will be like pure profit.

100m units made in the USA at say 50p to £1 per unit royalty that’s £50/£100m pure bottom line profit.

Clearly the OEM with the USA Health Care Group is to allow the branding of this product to be USA based.

Primer design already work with Pfizer.

Course there are other companies involved. It’s a global pandemic in the making.

However Novacyt are well established using proven equipment and have the distribution and manufacturing base. A lot of the rest are conceptual and are thus weeks or months behind.

This is key, globally focus will be on the most advanced and proven tech which is this.
