The developing world and locations with poorer healthcare systems need this test.
Lol. Just read my mind. Or was it the other way around. Exactly my thinking. Covid19 will spread like mad in the 3rd world. The need for a simple accurate highly mobile low cost test will be imperative
My thoughts are that this is the test for the 3rd world in remote locations, lower standard health care systems. Fills a gap below the current offerings in terms of mobility and scale. Riskier yes but upside massive.
Wiser. Can’t help but notice but all your NCYT posts seem to have had a feel of a subtle deramp.
Not trying a cheap shot are you old bean?
I think all sales made will be paid for prior to dispatch. They have £3m from warrants and debt facilities. I am sure Banks would also offer stock
Finance in this situation. No placing here I am afraid.
Yawn, very poor attempt at a subtle deramp.
180m tests in the UK alone. Wow.
Good for them. About time all the ones who have an issue with this company (why I have no idea) get the fact that Novacyt will produce millions of tests montly for a very long while. Give it up with other companies making tests being a ‘threat’. Pubs sell lots of beers when they are open from different breweries. Same with tests.
Think everyone needs to report him for disruption
On that basis the last NHS order was for 150,000 units at £8/9 you would expect 3m to be around £25/27m perhaps.

Extract from the Sunday Times today.
Six companies 17.5m tests procurement.
Reasonable chance Novacyt have a big chunk.
Impressive.
Novacyt will likely be in for 3-5m of those. Possibly £30/50m in total just from the UK at the onset of this disaster.
Scale that globally then see why this will be a £300m Mcap very soon and then it’s cheap still.
Way off the mark breatheasy.
There is confusion. The spokesman said 3.5m tests have been ordered but the ‘home antibody’ tests are not yet available or will be able to order for some weeks.
So what are the 3.5m orders for then?
Cannot be the Antibody test due to it neither being clinically proven or in production.
That leaves one main UK player.

That's post of the day.
Think the LSE maybe a tad different than the Palestine one
financial markets run electronically you have no need to close them down, start doing that and you are opening up an even larger problem
At present Novacyt will have unprecedented urgent demand, possibly doing turnover of £30m+ per month if the figures that got announced Friday likely grow which they will. That is £360m per annum revenue. Say a 40% net margin (conservative).
That would give c£144m net profit.
Average earning ratio for pharma's is around 13x so a value of £1.87bn is not fanciful.
People will say but this will be over in twelve months, let us hope that is the case but AFTER it is under control EVERY cold/flu presented globally will need a test and massive contingency stocks will also be needed.
The £10 per share mentioned and laughed at by some could be way too low, work out the numbers, work out the market NOW and AFTER.
A takeover at c £1bn+ would not surprise me.
One way to beat these complete ham shankers. Hold your shares.
