Planners need to get into 21st century.
Have you looked at small wind turbine
Meeting will be like the system but need more proof. Just to keep investors invested, they are good at keeping plates spinning.
Not thought about another system have they stopped feed in tariffs now.
Lost me there were not talking about insp unless they do solar panels
Oi that’s slander I don’t pinch handbags see you in court :-)
I have an old type meter goes backwards when putting electric back into the grid so not sure battery storage would help. What other system were you thinking of always interested in saving money lol
Bonesgt
Have you fitted batteries to your solar panels, just reading a bit more on it was originally told would lose export income but reading that you won’t.

Is that an lse rule or yours :-)

Trust me when it’s cloudy they barely generate anything at all. If it’s raining then it is nothing.
As I said earlier have a similar system to you in that it uses excess electric to heat water. However if you put batteries on your system to store you are modifying the system and will not get paid the full amount you are currently getting paid.

You make no sense at all, not even sure what your on about pmsl.
My solar panels are grid connected and if I was to add batteries would reduce the amount I get from the government. Think in the U.S a lot are off grid and ideal for them besides we don’t get enough sun over here lol.
To be honest would be interested in a boiler that generated electricity if the price was right, yet to see one though.
Using excess heat is fine but you still have to cool the engine. Using the heat from it doesn’t cool it lol.
Therefore it would all depend on how much electricity that excess heat would generate compared to the cost of installation of a Stirling engine.
That’s the burning question regarding the boiler. How much would it cost compared to what it would generate.

Sure about what?

Have fitted a system whereby excess electricity is used to heat the water. Already paid for itself.
When you say inverter what do you mean?

In which case you should know what it takes to generate 6.4kw. Waste heat from a boiler will never generate that much electricity also bearing in mind the actual heat output. If they can generate more energy coming out than going in they should have been snapped up by Elon Musk a long time ago lol.
Wonder how many more tones this will happen in January lol
Used to have hybrid car less economical than a diesel and more expensive, government stopped subsidy of £3.5k so now even more expensive. Got elected car now best thing I have ever bought.
Charging infrastructure not great but charge at home so no problem and have Superchargers at services.
Not sure what the boiler would actually generate in kWh but will be no where near the 6.4kw peak.
Have solar panels great in summer but even they can’t generate enough to charge the car lol.
Hybrid cars are going out of fashion that’s why I only mentioned regenerative braking. Electric cars don’t have an engine so no heat generated. Electric cars do generate a small amount of heat when being charged though. Solar panels generate electricity not heat unless they are heating hot water.
Not sure about air conditioning units but may have something there.
