They would ask you to transfer them to another broker within the ISA envelope who did cover NEX in their stocks and shares ISA. You won't lose the ISA status unless you flatly ignore their correspondence about them.

Look on the NEX exchange website under brokers. There's an extensive list of which brokers support their stocks.

Just had confirmation from TD that I can continue to hold and trade CHL (telephone only) in my ISA. Excellent news.

What's happened to SB's and CFD's? Are people having to fund them completely?

Looking at the NEX brokers on their website I see TD on there so I think it's just an accounting issue. It's a zero on AIM and NEX (let's see) as there hasn't been trading on the new exchange. Can't wait until the end of month (after 20th).

My TD ISA is showing a big fat zero valuation for my holding of CHL stock this am. I've asked the question about if I need to transfer to another provider, docyhey support NEX holdings (looks unlikely) and any other info they can tell me at this moment. I'll post their response.

There's a we'll know lager that does those kind of takeovers lol.
