Martin Hull, CEO of Echo Energy, commented:
"This is an important milestone for Echo, which if completed will fundamentally change the outlook for the company for the positive. By comprehensively restructuring and strengthening the balance sheet, we establish firm foundations for the business financially, from which we will be able to pursue the many opportunities that exist within our portfolio. The conditional conversion of debt into equity at a large premium by our largest single debt holder represents a vote of confidence in the Company's future. This transaction combined with the recently announced near term production enhancement plans and in the context of the highly supportive commodity price environment have transformed the prospects for Echo. We look forward to updating investors on our progress and thank them and our debt holders for their continuing support."

Martin Hull, Chief Executive Officer of Echo Energy, commented:
"The successful restructuring of the loan represents an important and positive step for the business as we continue to make great progress in 2021 both commercially and operationally. It materially reduces the near term cash outflow by delaying maturity whilst additionally reducing ongoing debt servicing costs, further strengthening our financial platform. These steps free additional resources to support our ongoing strategy of reinvestment in rapid payback production growth opportunities at a time of commodity price strength, reinforced by our attractively priced gas contracts. By investing in Echo at a more than 100% premium to the prevailing share price and agreeing to the lock up period, not only are the Lenders strengthening the balance sheet but also demonstrating confidence in the business and its strategy.

Martin Hull, Echo's Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"I am delighted that Echo has now successfully completed the restructuring of its debt obligations. The new arrangements result in no cash payments to Noteholders until maturity in 2025. This enables the Board to focus on rapidly delivering on its strategy to improve shareholder returns.
Commodity price strength, including the very material increases in gas price recently announced, combined with the more than doubling of oil production following the ongoing infrastructure upgrades, provide a markedly improved and positive outlook for shareholders.
This is a landmark moment for Echo and I am confident that we can now drive forward and reward shareholders in the future."

as I said 3 weeks ago - ANGS will not produce gas until September at the earliest, due to the complexities of commissioning. Its not a deramp at all, simply reality and i have been involved in these projects for years..
DrAim - On what basis are you using to purport that gas is likely flowing, do you have psychic powers that we do not possess.
You are also talking out of you Ar5e with regards to stabilizing flow rates, this is production dear boy not exploration so stop coming out with ****e !!
SCADA tests, cause and effects testing, can take weeks and weeks and if there is going go to be delays it will be with these. Only my opinion though. Last RNS also very vague, electrical and instrument testing, this should all have been done, seems rushed to try to get some form of positive news out..
Nobody wants to listen - commissioning these plants is technical, time consuming and often throws curve balls. As I still predict, given he work they are doing, production will not happen until September at the earliest. I hope I am wrong but that's what I think.
