MontiBurns ..... No - its >50% of the number of creditors...... If 100 entities are owed money, 51 have to agree with the propsal.
"But going by my numbers, SN’s debt would represent more than 50% of total creditors dues, meaning that any proposal made by SN (probably via new financing), he could vote it through as his debt represents more than 50%. And I believe for a settlement proposal to be accepted, perhaps it requires a simple 51% acceptance from the creditors by amounts owed and not by number of creditors. " It requires a majority (>50%) of the creditors who represent more than 75% of the debt: https://legislation.gov.ky/cms/images/LEGISLATION/SUBORDINATE/2017/2017-0091/CompaniesWindingUpRules_2023%20Consolidation.pdf
JCB has already got heavy vehicles running on hydrogen combustion engines. They are the only way forward for industry and air transport and cars wil follow. The argument against hydrogen at the moment is inefficiencey of fuel cells. Well simply cut them out and burn hydrogen directly in the engine like petrol or diesel and that is what JCB jhave done. Here: https://www.jcb.com/en-gb/campaigns/hydrogen/hydrogen-van , so I think you are wrong.
"Research and sharing ...... " All I see are myriad pointless questions of people who cannot possibly have the answers. We are passengers on this train; it will terminate at some point.
There are a number of naive people on this board. If you are not 100% sure that your intended action is going to benefit the long-term, greater good, do nothing. Given that you have done nothing for 5 years, it shouldn't be a chore.

The point is, Toffers, 131 sits on the Promenade, the most central and famous road in the town, and opposite Imperial Gardens, a widely used public space, and the tents are am imposing and non-vernacular eyesore. £400 million doesn't give him any more rights than anyone else and nor should it.
They still haven't taken down the tents outside 131 as ruled by the planners.... https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-68067031
