Cant remember the exact numbers but there were over 100 million in sells yesterday. But yes there were a lot more buys so you'd think there would have been a rise. There were also a large number of unknowns which is inevitable when the price is changing quickly. Not really sure how much mm's can affect the price if the momentum is there in either direction. If the demand is sufficient for shares they have to raise the price in order to encourage others to sell otherwise they wouldn't have any business. Anyway, why would they want to influence the price? They make their money from the spread regardless of price. Much the same way bookmakers operate.

In the Sharetalk interview Roland said " Activities will start immediately after approval by the GOI".

Make of that what you will but I would assume it means putting in orders for rigs etc straight away.

Not sure there's evidence for that Conger. Can't recall it ever being mentioned in an rns. Way back in the GSPC days they had a 10 year plan approved as part of getting the PSC renewed.

Even if it did require approval the drilling plan was agreed as long ago as January so plenty of time.

Conger. I am not sure if the GOI need to approve the work programme. I was told that they only went along with the interference in the jet pump debacle to keep the GOI on side. I also don't think they needed approval for the refrac for example.

Although I wasn't expecting a big rise yesterday, surely it was natural to be disappointed with the market reaction? I can understand your reasoning about getting out if you are not happy but often that would involve selling at a loss. When I got out before in 2021, I had an average of 0.32 and managed to sell for a modest profit at 0.40. Not long before it had been as low as 0.06 and posters then were saying get out if you're not happy.

As I said, I still have a hope that I will hr able to get out with some sort of profit so I will hang on and hope for the best. Atb.

Haddy. We are all gobsmacked. I am very far from being the only one who is disillusioned. Sorry if my being right annoys you so much. As it happens I would far rather have been proved wrong and paid up if it had meant an afternoon rally. It was patently obvious that was never going to happen. That's not how this stock works.

JPP. All makes perfect sense. All we need now is for the market to agree.

There is however no prospect of any bonuses until well into the second year. Even without that it is still a substantial investment.
