In his Sharetalk interview Roland said the target was 2 mmscfd for vertical and 4 mmscfd for horizontal.

There is one horizontal as well as the two verticals, so maybe they will just see how it works out for both types on a cost/return basis.

It was only in the Selan announcement that they said 2 vertical and one horizontal. Then Roland mentioned them in passing in his interview with regard to the flow rates. Horizontal 4 mmscfd and vertical half that at 2 mmscfd. Makes sense if verical is less than half the cost of horizontal. Be nice to know.

It never occurred to me for one second that anyone would think those bonuses could be earned during the initial agreed work programme of 3 new wells and 3 workovers. A few simple calculations would show you that is totally impossible.

In the real world they would be doing extraordinarily well to earn the first bonus of 0.5 million usd for cumulative production of

5 bcf. Before you jump down my throat and accuse me of whatever, let's do some simple ball park calculations.

The target for new horizontal wells is 4 mmscfd and vertical wells 2 mmscfd. So one horizontal and 2 vertical wells is 8 mmscfd.

We dont know what is expected from the 3 workovers but let's guess maybe a total of 2 mmscfd. So that gives us a convenient round number of 10 mmscfd. That is 10 million cubic feet per day. That total is if all the wells and workovers were magically operating together at maximum flow. Obviously they would be coming on stream at intervals during the 18 months. Being really generous and ignoring the expected decline they would do very well to average say 6 mmscfd over the 18 months.

18 months is about 550 days. So 6 mmscfd for 550 days gives a total of 3.3 bcf.

So making really generous assumptions they are still no where near hitting even the first target. If things go really well and they exceed the target flow rates they might get a bit closer.

I'd be staggered if there's anything about revenues.

Anyone else find it bizarre that tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since we were told anything at all about what Roland is doing in India ?

Hi Steven . Not sure what advice I can give you. I thought you had finally had enough and were relieved to be out. If you get bsck in now you will be in exactly the same situation you decided to exit from . Obviously if you stay out you will be devastated if it all comes good later. Alternatively, if you get back in and it doesn't you will be equally hacked off. Nothing has changed, it's the same dilemma.

Personally, I am hopeful rather than confident. If I could get out in the high teens, I would.

Absolutely Ssccss. All this nonsense when a share doesn't perform as we expect/hope. It can't possibly be that the market has no faith therefore it must be a conspiracy by the mm's. That implies that they know what is going to happen. How is that possible when not even Roland knows?

Ultimately buys must match sells and the only way that can happen is by adjusting the price accordingly.
