Yes Mitch, you could easily get that impression reading all the hyperbole on here. Can't understand those who think we're going to get most of Cambay. At the risk of repeating myself ad nauseam, if it was that definite that Oilex were entitled to it why didn't the court rule that. Hopefully, they will get all or most of the deposited cash and there will be a new drilling programme announced. Possibly they will get a bit more of Cambay but I wouldn't bank on it. As always, I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

Jester I don't pretend to be able to predict the future but it's very hard to imagine gspc agreeing to give Oilex another 50 %. If they did that they could hardly do much worse by going back to the courts/arbitration.

Agree with all that. However, what puzzles me is, if it is really that clear cut, why did the judge not rule in Oilex's favour rather than say sort it out amongst yourselves? But then as you say this is India. If they can't agree does it go back to court? Would the result be any different? Will we all die of boredom/frustration in the meantime? Lol.

Hope you're right bb. The fact that it's taking so long may indicate that heels are being dug in. Does anyone know the terms of the arbitration? If they can't agree can the arbitrator impose a settlement?

Fair enough. I would have thought 100% would be a single bagger. Personally, would be delighted with that short term as I would break even. Wouldn't be surprised if it fell short of that. As always, happy to be proved wrong.
