I was a physicist for 50 years, admittedly in a different field. For a long time I was very sceptical about climate change, until about 20 years ago when I decided that the evidence was in. In any scientific field there are always some that disagree with the consensus. Very occasionally they are right, much more often they are wrong. In this case the vast majority of scientists many of whom have spent an entire career studying this are in agreement and that's good enough for me. Yes, there is a (very) slim chance that it may turn out to be wrong but as a species we simply can't afford to take that chance and leave it until it's too late.
You rather give yourself away when you say
" Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform or reflect". Sounds like you think that the majority are always or usually wrong. Of course they are sometimes but not when it's an overwhelming majority of people who know what they are talking about.
I believe in free speech and you are entitled to your viewpoint but this forum is not the place for it.

Not sure what I would ask him sausage. He's hardly likely to answer no, if I ask if he's still positive. When I asked him previously why the known condensate problem wasn't better prepared for, all he said that matters were complicated by not knowing how successful the original frac had been. That's in spite of it saying in quarterly reports and the recent investor presentation that in the original frac, condensate build up had seriously impeded flow rates.
Maybe, I'll contact him in a few weeks if there's no news.

Given that the current disastrous share price is close to record lows, it should be low enough for anyone thinking of investing now. If they'd been a bit more " on the button" the condensate problem could have been sorted months ago. They appeared to do no preparation for a problem they were already aware of. Let's hope for some news soon. Gla.

Just found an old Oilex rns that gives the number of shares at the start of 2011 as 220 million . That makes the market cap £66 million. Ancient history, I know, but it makes you think.

Hi Espen. I have a list somewhere of the numbers of shares at various dates, so the mcap could be calculated. I will dig it out.

No sausage it was 0.22, having been sd high as 0.5 intra day on April 6th 2021. I sold out on that day at 0.407, then bought back later. Atb.

I think DP meant how many shares were in circulation at the all time low in December 2020. The answer is 4.4 billion then, compared to 8.4 billion now. The market cap then was less than half of what it is now.
