Sausage. You make it sound like India dont produce any gas. They produce huge amounts already, just nowhere near enough to meet demand, hence the imports.

You would think that if they get to help the GOI with the regulatory framework, that would raise their profile and mean the approval of a farmee would be expedited.

Fair enough Sobek. You do make some points that I can agree with. The planet was much warmer 100 million years ago, but it wasn't then required to support 8 billion human beings. Just emphasises that the problem is us. A rise of 2 degrees may seem trivial compared with changes on a geological time scale but the danger is that we reach a tipping point with the melting of polar ice caps etc and it goes much further.
Personally I believe that one way or another human ingenuity will solve this problem.
As you say we can agree to differ and leave it there.
