Baffled as to what has been going on this week. I had thought all along that whether the CCS licences were successful or not would have little effect on the short term sp. Could well be very rewarding for the few that intend being on board for the next 4 or 5 years but even then Cambay needs to be a success to finance it.

So, on Tuesday we peaked at 0.18, fell away a bit then held up well on Wednesday. We are now 22% below that peak after an rns saying one CCS bid has failed with the other still in play. You'd assume that means it has a reasonable chance, maybe with a few tweaks? So why the drop? Does that mean the previous rise was in anticipation of a successful license? Hard to believe, so maybe just an overreaction?

Still think we will only get that rerate with a successful use of the pump followed by a great jv deal. Hopefully that can happen in the next month.

I suspect the most likely outcome today is a further modest fall. If it holds or rises it may indicate that news is more imminent. Gla.

Down 3% strikes me as a pretty good result from where we were earlier.

Unfortunately Steven, I don't have a crystal ball either, or I would be a lot richer. As you say, if there is no news the usual pattern is for it to drift down. Or if news drops tomorrow it could double in an hour. My gut feeling is it could be a few weeks yet but nobody really has a scooby. Atb.

Hi Callum. I am sure you are right about CCS. It will be huge in the future and essential for the future of the planet. My investment timescale may be different to yours given that I will be 75 this year. Atb.

Hi Jack. This is what they said about CCS in the Q&A last year.

" Can you give us a rough timeline for the development of CCS. We expect full FEED to commence after the CCS licence award; FEED will take c. 9 months. Commissioning would be anticipated 3 years after a Final Investment Decision – so perhaps by 2026?"

So around 4 years from license to commissioning.

Anyway, I guess you may still be here in 4 years, I will be long gone. Hopefully, only in terms of this investment and not in a mortality sense. Lol.

No sausage. I think it said somewhere that they need 10 mmscfd to connect to the high pressure grid. That will need at least 3 wells.

Hi Jack. It's not a case of being negative, more one of time scale. It will be at least 4 years before CCS is up and running, let alone making profits. Plus there's the cost of financing it. It may well mske a lot of money long term but it is the details of the jv, anf then the success of the new wells, that will decide the short to medium share price. Atb.
