Crock of s**t. So much for rising interest rates being great for bank shares. Even after all the rises and buy backs the sp is virtually unchanged on the year. The 5.5% yield is more than wiped out by inflation.

First bought Lloyd's at about 4 quid and now have an average of 52p. Every time they look like recovering they are hit by something rlse. We've had the financial crisis, PPI, Brexit, the pandemic and now the spectre of a windfall tax. Probably forgotten one or two but that'll do.

Nobody can guarantee that everything they do will be on time. The problem here is that virtually everything they have done has been way behind their estimates. This from the Q and A in April 2022.

A successful C-77H re-frac, a successful new (C-78H) well drilled and on production, a farmout agreement on Cambay, and the award of a CCS licence for the Medway Hub with FEED underway." So, in their own words, not mine, a far from successful year.

It seems you are suggesting that shareholders have no right to criticise the board, who's wages we effectively pay, for falling well short of their own targets.

That depends on which schedule you're referring to VF. Certainly not the one from the rns on 9th March.

Absolutely agree with that last bit Harry. Surely no one now believes the BS about the jv completion not being dependent on successful pump operation.

Last September they said the jv was expected in a few months, then it was 3 to 6 months. It is now rapidly approaching 9 months.

Do more or less agree wolf, but do think they tend to shoot themselves in the foot by what they do say. As I said, if they had just said that everything would be there in time for the start of operations, that would have been fine. BTW they dud say it in an rns not a Tweet.
