Pjm. Depends on what timescale you take. In April last year they said first new well Q4 2022 or Q1 2023. Going to be around a year late. Not so great.

Conger. The old zones may produce some more gas which will help the near term cash flow. They were going to open them up later anyway. For comparison purposes it doesn't seem helpful at all. In the investor presentation they said "... these four zones had been fracked sub-optimally with the majority of production coming from only one zone."

Ssccss. The comparison makes no sense at all.

Previously they were going to compare two zones fracked using the new efficient methodology before and after artificial lift. Now they are comparing the same two zones plus four old inefficiently fracked and damaged zones before and after. Presumably, there will be no way of knowing how much of any improvement comes from which zones.

Sausage. Really hope you are right but I was already thinking that the earliest we might get an rns saying a jv had been agreed in principle would be August. Don't believe it would actually be signed until GOI approval. Who knows how long that will take? Might not be too bad, considering the close involvement of the DGH or it could take forever. Who knows? Then they have to order the rig and other equipment. They did say months ago they were looking into that, so that will save time but they can't order anything until approval and jv signing. As always we wait.

It does seem strange Sausage. However, I suppose Syn need to go along with the DGH to keep them on side.

They had previously intended to reconnect the old damaged zones, once they had established the flow with artificial lift on the two refrac zones. Can't see how it helps the comparison reconnecting the old damaged zones before using the pump. I think they said previously that the tubing in the old zones had partially collapsed. Also, Roland said to me in an email that they didn't think the original zones had been efficienty fracked. That was the whole reason for the modified fracking methodology. Very odd.

Looks like the slim chance of new wells starting this year just got slimmer.

They said in the 13th April rns that the two refrac zones were producing on a plateau of 150,000 SCFD. Why not make a direct comparison with that. It does, however, seem encouraging that the DGH are getting so closely involved.

The difference seems to be that they are reconnecting the 4 original fracked zones. They previously intended to do this later. Given that these zones were previously damaged, I would have thought that would unnecessarily confuse the comparison. Oh well, guess we'll find out in due course. Gla.

Further delays. However not Syn's fault this time. Interesting that the DGH are getting involved. Surprising that they want a baselne flow rate without artificial lift. You'd think they already have that?

Exactly Toptuf. I can honestly say that in my 50 years in science, I took pride in delivering jobs/projects on time for clients and did so at least 95% of the time. If for reasons outside my control, I couldn't do so, I would notify the client in advance with a reason and an apology. If I had consistently been late, doubt I would have kept my job.

I do think, that as they have booked services/kit for specific dates they are likely to meet this LATEST schedule. That however is the point. If you keep issuing updated schedules, you are always going to meet the most recent.

Probably at least that VF. In the 9th March rns they said multiple wells.

Yes VF. Improved flow rate should certainly reduce the cash burn. Also, I think they said they were hoping to use it to increase oil flow from C19z.

Sausage. That's tbe reason I have said previously that it would be great if the jv deal included a cash element. There is no way of knowing how much cash they have left. They did previously say that the artificial lift solution would be covered by the refrac budget. Then there was the cash from the convertible loan. Refrac and pump aside we don't know what the current general cash burn is. Also at what point will they start spending to move CCS forward. Hopefully, not for a while. Maybe, Wintershall will cover that initially? All in all, too many imponderables to rule it in or out. Here's hoping for good news in the next couple of months.

Channay. Yep. This share is a bit like watching a long running soap opera, like Eastenders or Coronation Street. You pick it up again after a couple of years and nothing much has changed. Still the same people arguing the toss over the same old things. Still at least we have no serial killers and everyone's not sleeping with everyone else. (I hope). Lol.

Just my opinion, but I think the blinding rns will be when they announce the (hopefully) much improved flow rates, say the end of July, followed shortly thereafter by an even better one with a great jv deal. Gla.
