When the shells and BPs of this world originally drilled these wells they wanted quick returns so bypassed many pay zones on the way down. TXP are perforating these zones to produce more oil from the wells. Also probably doing any maintenance and renewals of equipment at the same time.

Agreed, they have positive earnings on 1,543bbls/d, so given oil prices and production have both gone up the Q2 results should be even better. Then we have the 4 newly completed wells and five soon to be drilled wells on top of that!

Great results, cash flow positive in first quarter. Strong net backs and low operating costs.

These next four to come on line have much bigger pay zones than the first, so i can see the target 2000bbls/d being easily passed with these five wells alone. With the next five they could be easily be challenging Trin’s production rates (around 2700). Focus will be on what CO-371 produces with 400feet of pay, thats 5 times the first well and i’m sure they have learnt a lot about well positioning from these first five. Looking forward to see the financials given their budgeting is based on mid 50s oil prices and oil has been much higher through Q1. Also good to see they are satisfying their development obligations as this was a risk a year ago. Paul has really got their house in order. Welldone TXP.

Think they were just having a pause after breaking through a key resistance level at 13p. Dropped the bid to check for sellers/weakness and they haven’t had any response really. Will move up quickly when they are ready. Daily AO and MACD charts looking very good. This stock isn’t liquid enough to trade so whilst i watch the charts its more for interest on this stock. Im in for 490,000 shares so far, so long term holding/steady head based on the fundamentals/updates is the plan. Completely agree with estimates for MCAP of £50m based on current production. Their future plans coud send the company value to whole different level. Truely transformational opportunities ahead with this one.

Completely agree tidd. They also calculated the 2000bopd profitability target on a conservative mid 50s oil price so i think Q1 results could show they are already there.

Good update from Paul Baay last night. Financials and stats looking very good. Driiling programmes fully funded and when asked about future cash raising/dilution the answer was a very clear no. It wont be needed. Positive cash flows will at some point mean income is far greater than capital expenditure on drilling new wells and then free cash becomes available So a dividend programme would be an opion which they have been discussing. Have over 200 drill locations planned on developed acreage and these would be funded through revenue. Two big exploration opportunities are east brighton and ortoire. East brighton is onshore drilling for off shore oil using directional drilling. Ortoire is a very large acreage which they feel has huge potential. Future looks very good and oil price risk is being controlled through sensible budgetting and development plans.
