How I see it. If for example ten billion shares are bought back, then that is ten billion shares Lloyd's don't have to pay a divi on infinitum, Ten billion X price of divi must increase the value of Lloyd's by the same amount. Ten billion X price of bought shares say 59p decreases Lloyds value to a point temporary, but concentrates the amount of shares in circulation thus increasing value. I think when we are at the £1 and £2 party we can raise a toast to buybacks at this comparatively low price. AHO?

The only consolation is that, from my understanding, the buybacks are a lot greater than the incentive/bonus printed shares.

Whatever salary Nigel Farage gets from EU we pay a proportion, I don't know exactly how much, but seeing as though there are 28 nations in EU lets say 1/20th. He is taxed I presume in UK, so we would get more in tax than we pay. Would that not apply to the rest of the 29 elected uk Brexit Party members? Not bad value for money if you ask me.

Thanks just listened to that link, very interesting. Just strengthened my feelings that we need to leave and then negotiate when we have some negotiating power. They will give in to hardly anything whilst they are holding the reins. what an arrogant bunch of tossers they come across as.
