We need to stop all benefits to illegal immigrants, as their name implies they are doing something illegal and as such should be arrested and immediately returned, very difficult, so the better option would be to stop them getting here. The French have proved they can do it with their publicity stunt a few days ago , cutting up the dinghies , before they leave. This won’t happen because France want to get rid of them as much as we do. Starmer needs to do the same as them, look after number one instead of sucking up to other leaders. He couldn’t negotiate his way out of a paper bag.

So What do we do? Evict tenants who claim housing benefit? Stop housing anyone who receives housing benefit ? Ban landlords (who in my opinion serve a vital service to housing)?

A lot of what you are claiming credit for Trump for would have happened without him anyway. He hasn’t stopped Iran from having nuclear weapons just delayed themby a few months. He needs to stand up to Putin and not treat him as his best buddy. He has done some good, but he is not a panacea for peace.

Welcome to this board Hard Down but you need to get real. Landlords serve a vital service to housing. What needs to be done is to help the tenants pay their own rent instead of handing out rent allowance to those who are quite capable of working.

If the government had the inclination to stop the boats i'm sure it could'n be that difficult to do, they need to want to do it.

Feel sorry for the British Countryside which is getting destroyed by building an excessive amount of new houses.

In the end these are built for foreigners as the British population is on the decline.
