The FCA has powers to investigate, report suspects to the police and start prosecutions.
This fraud was so blatant that surely the FCA can't just throw their arms up in the air and say, oh well, it happened, forget about it and nevermind.
Somebody will get Eric one day, there's no hiding.
Otherwise I'm sure that someone can be found to sell Eric a $10 million dollar property in the Bahamas - Eric's buys it and then he's later told, oh sorry, it was a fake property deal, hope you don't mind Eric. It was treeeemendous value though!
