The answer, maybe, is that the tenticles of WeChat, via the new agreement with MySquar, will spread amongst Mysquar's 20 mil user base and then Tencent will aquire Mysquar... that's a possibility that could play out.

I would tend to agree with that Jez. Tencent came knocking on MYSQ's door in Dec 17 - Eric handled it badly to the point where later this year he announced "discussions have effectively terminated."

It think if most of us were MYSQ CEO we would not have let Tencent off the hook and we would have successfully negotiated some kind of participation by Tencent - a no brainer, right?

But now Tencent is firmly the biggest player in MYSQ's future growth strategy as announced in the RNS.

No, not having a laugh Sliotar - revenue increase trajectory is vital to see it going up substantially north on games reveneue only and this is set to be dewarfed by mobile payments revenue as the product line goes fully live - it will be transformational for Mysquar when it kicks in.

a 74% increase in revenue year on year - on games only - very good IMO, and that's even before the money platform is fully launched, which is the big cash machine.
