Totally agree LW... Silver outperforms Gold and miners in the late bull stage is my understanding of history too.

I'm also seeing assets under management in GDX falling over the last 5 days meaning investors are leaving the gold miners ETF. Garrett Goggins on x is a good read... his view is that gold will keep going higher 'until the masses come'

Thanks for the reply over on GJGB Portfolio and I'm glad you put it here too. Equally good to see your reply ID. I do think gold has a long way to go yet, but I'm also closely watching the gold to silver ratio. It currently stands about 80:1 so 80 oz Silver to 1 oz gold. Historically this ratio narrows sharply in Pm bull cycles - and we are still far from those historical compression points.

In past cycles the ratio bottomed at 15 - 30 For silver to return to even a 40 ratio at current gold prices it would need to trade near $100 oz nearly double....

I'm thinking a period of consolidation followed by a continuation of the trend of the last couple of years.... but just my humble opinion!

Yep... it was.....but I didn't finish the story Dai... the old FOMO kicked in & I just couldn't stay away...I won't tell you what I bought back in at, but let's say I learnt a lesson re not getting emotionally attached.. I'm still in...

I think we still have a long way to go . My gut is telling me a bit of a b wave bounce, followed by a correction setting the platform for a continued leg up.....but I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

I know that feeling too guys... I first bought in May 23 for 1.7, but sold in Aug for just under 5p, only to buy back in end of Nov that year for just over 7p. I was out again in June 24 for 11p feeling I was doing OK!! I agree PP sometimes it's better to just sit on hands!

So I'm working on a new strategy... only time ( and the PM cycle) will tell if I'm right ...

It is right down your street Tro.. I'm in there too.. they raised over £1m in Sept at 4p so right now it's a steal! I also like the geologist in charge & there seems to be plenty of news coming out rather than the usual empty space of a lot of similar companies... Some holders are there for the Oil licence which I guess adds another string to the bow... GLA!

Tiger - read Sider's posting history - he said same on Bres on 30th Sept & an RNS did arrive at Bres on 1st Oct.....

It's moving nicely now ..SAG up 108% according to HL. Maybe RNS coming here to confirm value of SAG holding ?

Held 12,692,000 shares in Sterling as at 18/6/24 RNS- 5.46% stake worth £435K then but difficult to work out what they have sold since?

Up 12% & No quotes on HL or IG but HL will take all of mine....
