PP - Unless people just haven't cottoned on yet? It surprises me but sometimes it takes a few days for the news to filter through.....

I might hold over the weekend & see what Monday brings... next week should also give a good indication of where Gold is going short term, if it breaks above the high of 13 Nov (approx £4250) then the drop to the downside I'm waiting for would seem to be off the cards & I'll kick myself....

Kev I've got another option for you guys... I've taken some in Smiths News.. can't remember if it was Swissy or Horult who was talking about earnings reports or approaching ex div dates buying in advance & taking profit as it approached, but I was following that line of thought & came across it... good results announced 4 Nov and a special div making the ex div date on 8th Jan around 10%.... just thought I'd mention it as an alternative to the joys of Aim... EME today, ouch!!

That's right Dai, Cemaes Bayis the old power station site..... you may have a very valid point PP - after all they could have picked anywhere in the UK to build this yet they popped it right next to a pile of 'unloved' critical metals......

That's an epic price for a soon to be classic... I'm seeing them around the £18k mark which is still too much... but if I can find the right one for a good price I think you're right - these prices won't be seen again... I've had a decent year on the gold & miners but I'm still trying to earn back previous losses which were not good :-(. Hopefully the next few weeks will see the last consolidation of the gold price before it sweeps to new highs in the new year & all will be good, fingers crossed... shout if you see one near the £12k mark again!!

Fingers crossed for that Tro.... we could definitely do with a bit of Mr Caine's dynamite... Christmas is coming and the quality of things on my 'I've been good list' has deteriorated somewhat recently... I started the year with a beautiful AM DB9 on the top and now I'm more in the vicinity of a 2012 Nissan Micra if I'm really lucky........onwards

Hi PP from memory it's about 10km maybe less & that's if you go via the coast path..... new power station is Cemaes Bay and Parys Mountain is close to Amlwch... both on the very North coast. You can probably find a good map if you google the cliff walks on a ramblers' site! Interesting concept though.. I'm intrigued!

ASI - re JISA - HL offer a good one with no dealing fees. I guess you would have to prepare for a move as daughter gets close to 18 as they would then have fees. Worth a look at least....
