I'd speak to your S/B again. I think you mean you have nil paid rights showing in your account, which weren't taken up for whatever reason, the last day they could be sold was the 30/03, but you would have taken up the rights had you bought 'New' shares. If you have any left, your S/B may have 'Tail-Swallowed' i.e. sold some right to pay for the 'New' shares. It's a way of buying new shares without any cash outlay but can leave rights unused.
Ask if there is any value in them, there sometimes is if your S/B can sell them.
I have 38 'leftovers' and I hope to receive a small payment eventually. If you have a lot of rights outstanding, I would ensure that you get the best price possible. You need to be firm with your broker.
