Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
An excellent report which shows what a tremendous BoD we have.
The provisions made will serve the company well when the recovery gets under way and I'll be looking to take profits elsewhere and buy more for the bottom drawer.
This will once again become a good income provider.
Sotolo:
The solution would be to sell and buy back in an ISA, if of course you are able to.
That way all divi payments are tax free and can be taken as income or reinvested.
Welcome to this crazy club Fastjet.
I remember buying in a similar price...around 6 years ago!
It has it's ups and downs for sure, but since we ventured out of the Solomon Islands, things have looked a lot brighter.
Nice to see the upward momentum, let's hope this time it's for keeps.
Beat wishes to all, LTH's and Newbies!
My initial investment here has just passed the 100% gain mark.
Been a rocky road without doubt, but it's one of the few shares I hold that I have never had doubts about, well apart from the hostile T/O bid.
I've taken profits, re-invested and top sliced along the way, always with an eye on the dividend and the POG. It seems that all is coming together for the company and I look forward to the future with confidence.
Well done all LTH's, It's nice to read a BB that isn't swamped with hysteria in times of volatility.
...to see the rise today.
Just general re-rating of the sector or perhaps something more?
The Covid 19 vaccine trial that starts today at Oxford University will hopefully lead to full scale production by November when one or more of the large manufacturers will be involved. They are producing 1m doses in the meantime with failure risk built in, but I think it will be GSK, Merck, Pfizer and some of the large Indian companies that take on the bulk of the production.
GKB47: Thanks for the link.
Due to a 'Admin Error' the notice (via HL) had been deleted prior to being read!
However I have managed to secure my proxy and have expressed my disgust that LTH's are not included in these offers.
Even without the current hype, 18p was a low price and ALL existing SH's should have been included.
I sincerely hope the motions are voted down!
Now that the hysterical ramping has died down a bit, could any of the LTH's tell if they have received notice of the GM yet?
I haven't heard anything and am concerned that the Placement and earlier Subscription could be 'signed off' without approval.
Also as a LTH I'm a bit miffed that I wasn't offered a chance to join in either!
And for the newer holders, be aware most LTH's are still showing a loss, even at this level.
Just to add my tenpeneth, don't forget that to qualify for a divi, you have to be 'On the register' on ex-dive day.
Depending on your broker and the company, that can take an extra day. I know, I've been caught out once or twice.
Best allow two days if buying to qualify.
Ah...activate brain prior to opening mouth!
I just read Sotolo's post and understand.
Sorry to sound stupid, (it is early in the morning), but what is the advantage in replacing the 2019 final divi with the 2020 interim. Does that mean the 2019 divi will not be paid?
