Sold 1000 @ 16.85 today (bought 23rd May ) to take small profit after charges. Hopefully me selling will be a spur for the price to rise further for my other Pru holdings. Just can't seem to find any valid info on the stock. Hong Kong worries.... Will Trump do a deal with China? Seemed happy with his deal with Canada and expressed good will to Mexico.... Have back stop of some gold stocks maybe rise in Solgold tomorrow. No updates on split .Any news on Pru would be welcome.

All is not fair in big business where millions are at stake. Why should any one pay big bucks for Solgold when they can bribe government officials and agencies to put out false tales to crash our interests. Then once we are on our knees pick up the pieces at a bargain basement price and then get the permissions they seek. If Solgold is so important to the government then why haven't they put out a statement to reassure investors or bring the whole issue to a prompt conclusion. Wish every investor well for the week ahead and hope my fears are wrong.

When all is said and done not being an expert with a crystal ball , Trade war, Brexit, useless career driven political class. So just purchased 1000 @ 15.80. As usual expect another dip now I've bought to low £15 tomorrow. Lets hope i can take a small profit over the next few months to offset against my loses Although Divi Helped...............

Think this company will be out of the running re- bids on Solg for some time as it braces itself for huge claims over the Dam collapse in Brazil.

Nice rise today as investors buy for Divi but expect fall back tomorrow on divi payment. Interesting to see what happens. Blah Blah. I don't think there is too much to worry with of Chinese players Competition as many Chinese and other Asian Communities Value Pru's Trust Factor with their cash. However long term I do think there will be some exceptional benefits in the area , either a Take over or as you mention some sort of Partnership deal with One of the Chinese big boys to the benefit of both parties.

Well looking at the current situation with China if Pru drop to the Mid £15,s I'll be buying back in to offset some loses. However you never loose until you sale. so will wait for split later in the year or early next year. Broker notes that UK part will have excess funds may well issue several special divi 40% on top of existing and may also bolster US part with funds to prepare it to be spun off (as previously mentioned) very exciting times ahead.

Thus giving them time to spin out the US holdings before selling the Asian wing at a very high premium to Ping An.

Sold 1,000 @ 16.75 yesterday preserving Divi . Small return bought @£16.00. But still hold 3,000 bought @ between £17.25 and £18.00 and 2,000 between £18.20 and £18.50. Still believe this is solid company even with split and hope to see rise after trade war with China is resolved... But will buy back in at lower end below £16 if shares drop again. Roll on Divi

Thanks for all the links , Have been reading ADFN pages Brilliant last video as you stated one to see. I have been here for many years now having initially bought in at 77.2p before the price sank. But cautiously averaged down buying back in at 28.5 and 31..5 and watching them sink again. Only wished I had bought more but had doubts on the location closeness to Russia. So diversified into Solgold as well. Pity we didn't have someone visiting there!!

Can anyone explain why this stock is constantly falling of late please now nursing large loses which is unusual for this stock, bought in again at 16.00 on fri to offset loses but stock keeps falling.

Wow.. Coat been in since 2008 I bought in @ 77p in 2011... you must have lost your shirt ...if you bought in in those days..
But seriously good luck to everyone on the board especially those long suffering shareholders who hopefully averaged down during all those dark times. nice set of results today with the issue of a 3c divi for Dec. Lets hope the momentum continues. Need to crack that 60p line

A colleague of mine who was in Hong Kong a few weeks ago (when I was moaning about Pru share Price) had told me that Pru was being stalked by a company wishing to takeover its Asian interests. He said many people in HK had known as, Pru had were so successful in the Asian market place and will continue to be so. I didn't think there was a chinese company big enough to do this. So who is Ping!!!! and would the up and coming split be a run up to a take over ??

Have just looked over my history on prices for my Solgold shares and since buying in 2006. This period in time has been the longest sustained value run of the share at over 20p. In 2006 it was roughly 9 months before dropping through the 20p barrier 2010/2011 we managed 8 months. But since Oct 2016 we are now sustained 22 months above the 20p and counting. Must be good news.

Monti just seen your post and you are so correct but with this one I started on a high lost interest and then bought back in when I assumed it was going to take off Hey Ho mind you the boring shares like Croda Int have more than well compensated.
