Bought Solg many moons ago, Think Tony Blair was PM at the time, still hold but have my doubts now, bought AAz on a tip at 15p. Then this share at 1.5p and Cobra at 1.5p. Remember tipping AAZ on the Solg page when it was 40p the Same as Solg at the time and got so much abuse I didn't post again for a couple of years. Looking to reinvest in another company any tips please. Think GGP could overtake Solg pre Christmas.

Well such a lot has happened since my last post on the 22 oct. My two concerns blighting the stock was Covid and US trade war with China. Pres Elect Biden (if he can get Trump out)has stated that he will soften his approach on china polices and drugs for Covid have been announced bringing M&G up to the 1.90's and Pru to the 12.90's. My two next milestones will be EU and The sale of Jackson. (always bearing in mind progress with Covid) on that matter take a look at Synairgen Aim stock with different inhaler delivery system , less labour intensive that Jabs. (spin off from Southampton Uni}. Whilst the EU talks maybe laboured. i think Pru will gain momentum on the potential sale of Jackson. Good luck everyone and stay safe

Agree rossannan, expected a lift today, but with so many ceasefires broken can understand markets not responding however still expect a rise this afternoon of 3-5p. Basically with just this news and extra mining areas now in play.

Gold panda , Interesting find. I saw under AAZ news on my HSBC share dealing site a week ago that the Azeri government have been in talks with AAZ to develop these and other resources in the newly reclaimed territories . Thought it to be a little sensitive until I read your link.

With the looming spectre of Negative interest rates I am sure that most savers will object to paying a % charge on their savings held in banks so Companies like M&g will see large increases in investment products. Unless people just put the cash under the bed.... (physical gold a bit risky now) But this doesn't look good for banking stocks???? For now I believe this stock is still a very good buy for longer term investors.

Niece to see today, maybe a glimmer of more improvement to come. Hope all serious share holders instead of sitting back and moaning, are writing to their MP or the Chancellor office complaining about the length of the SFO investigations into this stock and the impact it has had. Should there be a time limit on such investigations??? etc etc.....

I believe that the current share price will continue in the range of £9.50 -£12.00 The lower end Being a very sound investment for future growth. The current trade war with the US and China bearing down heavily on the stock as.well as covid.
The future....... Our M&G stock should perform well and if Neg interest rates kick in as Banks will lose a Lot of cash as depositors move money into investments, so see this stock moving into the £2.00-£2.50 range again.
Back to Pru, Investments in Asia are still improving and as before which i have previously stated(2008) Ping An's China's peoples Bank will I am certain make a move for Pru and its Asia business. With the recent split Pru, left itself aligned with Jackson life which I thought was a tactic to stop China bank making a move beforePru was ready. (ie current trade war would block move with Jackson in tow) . In August Pru stated that it was preparing to sell its interests in Jackson for 5 billion. So when this happens , Pru will be open to offers and with the sell of Jackson I can't see the share price below lifting to£15-£16 improving again with a bid from Ping.

Equadorian government get frustrated with years of Exploration when they need to bolster their revenues asap. Tell Solg to pull their finger out and develop something. At the same time Telling BHP not to buy anymore stock as they will give them Solg licenses for 25% of the cut? Silly angle any sense or a ridculous

At last after some time share price is starting to move as deadlines and interested parties circle, so to add a little excitement what do we think for next week. 1. share price drops on profit taking. 2. Share price consolidates on gains.3. Share price continues to climb to 50p. 4. Share price Booms on news. 5. none of these.

Whilst I can't disagree with your thoughts on electric cars r7632 (this is the sign of the times) As soon as the have sold everyone with electric cars and with ever increasing advancing Hydro Technology it won't belong before people start to say, How clean it is and efficient to mine all this Lithium and how many chemicals are used in the manufacture of Lithium-ion batteries oooh and how do we dispose of all these products when no-longer recyclable. Already Hydrogen cars have a range similar to petrol, their waste is water, refuel time
same as petrol if not less. Yes there are less places to refuel but hey, you've all got to buy electric first(Market forces). So for me still good to see PFC going in the right direction to get out of this mess.

Having read into details of contract highlighted by Solar Steve, I like what I am seeing, previously a wind farm contract and now the Hydrogen plant. In both cases could lead to more business. Japan is a big supporter of Hydrogen and I am too. reminds me years ago when everyone went down the Betamax route before VHS took over. I refer to Betamax to new electric cars which I think have so many problems which are being pushed by so many governments. But to me Hydrogen will be the way forward. So good work PFC hope we are whoosing again soon.

Weir group Sells all its interests in Oil and Gas to focus on Mining . Price lifted 17% in early Trading. PFC will have to carefully monitor the situation and continues to expand into different areas to remain flexible in an ever changing world.

Have held this stock for many years, and sold some recently. However the problems in this area has been since bordering states and former members of the Soviet Union sort their independence. I can assure you that it is Russia's sole objective is to recover all these former states. We have seen this with other countries that have broken away from Russia. Russia have been involved for quite some time supplying both sides with arms and stirring it up as it suits their aims. Turkey however has entered the fray which is a game spoiler for Russian tactics. I believe this will come to a head soon and Russia will desist from stirring it up . As for AAZ they have been through this all before are unaffected, comes with the area I'm afraid but now could be an ideal time to pick up a few before results and Divi date if their are further drops.

Have been into shares since my mid 20's, now in my mid 60's have seen individuals who claim to buy and sell at the right time and professing to have made huge profits. This does happen, but not often unless you have the resources to research constantly. My best investment is my home. However back to PFC, I have always found it is best to see some recovery in a stock before I buy. Not gambling on an upturn. I have stated before why i believe this share is not in a good place at this time. I wish everyone well and the best of luck.
