some investors would have chosen not to take dividend and sold which caused drop yesterday and today the stock went Ex.Divi. So if they sold on Tuesday or yesterday they have now gained more than the divi was worth. The majority will be buying in again today or tomorrow to then take advantage of the drop in share price.

Just topped up @1.20 if it drops further will look again tomorrow . But at least Kenny Jacket has been sacked as manager.

Agree with you totally Paddyboy, Shorters and de rampers out in force today. Why hold a share if you're going to **** it off all the time. If you are that concerned about the results , shut up, sell up and find another company to moan about.

See we are still high on the list of shorted companies, had thought this may be due to awaited results or SFO outcome. That was until I saw a Docu on the Games Stop Saga where Large investors had shorted the stock and manipulated the market SP for their own gains. Even had paid individuals on sites like this to talk down or up to suit there requirements. That was until other large institutions Started to buy big and caused the shorting institutions huge loses as the SP increased rapidly. As this stock has been shorted for so long seems similar to market manipulation of the stock. If results are poor the SP still doesn't deserve to be at these levels after all the country has been though, most companies in the sector have suffered. Lets get positive about this stock .

Shrewd 100% agree. Plus If (and i'm not saying they will) but if the SFO drop the case. I believe a 50-70p.immediate uplift in SP. This is the risk for the shorters and i hope they and all the derampers get caught.

* indicates shares held the longest.

Added fri to my holding. All my mining stock under a cloud , hoping for a lift soon stock now includes CCZ, AAZ, Solg ,XTR, Condor, Cobra Res and GGP. Hope sector comes good again soon. Any views on sector appreciated.

John ,I shall be keeping my MNG stock as this will become one of my new core holdings now as very impressed with the share and Dividends. Majority of my shares held in ISA so no tax implications however these will show no gains anyway unless something happens before split. Suggest if you haven't done so, open a Stocks And Shares ISA . Can get this years allowance before April and add another after April. You have a CGT allowance of £12300 if this is not enough you can sell some in this Tax year and the rest in New tax year giving you £24600 profit before tax is paid at the same time putting funds into an isa.

Well sold 1,000 pru shares today @15.40 (mng 2.20) total 17.60 Bought some time ago for 17.50 so taking into account divi as well after all this time probably about evens. Why ? I hold a further 4K @18.50 and must admit for the first time got rattled as they dropped below £12 recently on rumours of raising funds for Jackson split. It was the first time I have never bought when they dipped, just too rattled. I do not really want Jackson shares, so cashed in some but am still undecided about taking a loss on my other holdings. Confused on the why the share price has done well of late. Some say Jackson undervalued plus (as I have said before) once clear of Jackson Pru could itself become a take over target. Maybe this is causing the Sp to do well . Any thoughts please? Didn't sell MNG just used as a guide on total price.

The tax payer paid for my apprenticeship, In the MoD, after many years I became a Higher Professional and Technological Officer. As well as training engineering apprentices. Companies like Weir , PFC, have fantastic skills sets within their companies that can't be just bought and sold. They are acquired after years of experience. I am a firm supporter of UK engineering companies and know from my travels that other countries rate our services very highly. As for the SFO well in most of the World, bribes and incentives have been common practise for many years until the crackdown. There is a saying that you only lose if you sell, I haven't sold, as I see this Company as a long term investment (not just the company but the skills within). The company has been very proactive and its move towards the green energy front with Hydrogen plants. as noted by Lee rex recently. This could indeed be a game changer for the future as we go forward. Not forgetting the Divi's have received.

I have been in this share for about 5 years now. I am not a short investor here looking for quick profits and moaning when they don't come. If your are then, perhaps another share is for you. I am a supporter of this stock and have been trickle feeding my ill gotten gains into it. So i would like to say thank you to all the 'Shorters' for enabling to keep buying this stock at a discount.
