Troajan, does not understand the numbers either.
Here is the extract from southwesterners post. Which is the best explanation I have seen
"106.5 tonnes of tungsten concentrate. Containing 61 tonnes of WO3 metal. The then APT price in H1 2020 averaged around $160. 80% payment of that. 0.8 x 160 x 100 x 61 = $780k.
64.5 tonnes of tin concentrate. Containing 32 tonnes of Sn metal. The tin price in H1 2020 averaged around $15k. Take off 12% smelter fees. 32 x $13k = $410k
$410k + $780k = $1190k
$1190k = €1070k"
You can see that your simplistic approach does not hold any substance on the revenue line.
In respect to OPEX. You need to understand that this is calculated on the scale of full production over a long term. Also you assume that that the per mtu cost is fixed. It is not. Its linked to production volumes. Simple analogy using made up numbers. If the fixed operating costs of the business were £1m but only 1mtu was produced then the OPEX would be £1m per mtu. If 500k mtu were produced then the Opex per mtu would be £2.
Not exhaustive by any means, but points away from an assumption you are making.
