What's the betting that we're on the cusp of this? How will that impact the dollar and gold?

Demand for gold is so high at the moment and new resources so scarce I can't imagine there wouldn't be interest. I'd also imagine it would take more than 3 months to pen a deal (considering some partners would have to set themselves up in the country for the first time.

Yeah like Kutz says, it will be some while until any sort of deal is penned. Any prospective partner would do their due diligence by pouring over the books, seeing samples and lab reports, walk around the package etc. etc. Could be a way off if there was a bite or two. What would be exciting though is if more than one is interested and become aware of the other suiters in which case there could be bids.

In simple terms, doing a placing/diluting is like taking the money out of our banks without permission. It's immoral on all sorts of levels. To rely on it as a source of income is offensive.....not to mention very off putting to potential investors. Money needs to go in the bank without stealing it from investors otherwise investors won't invest. It's very simple and the only solution.

So BOD give us the truth and a plan on how and when you'll put money in the bank without stealing. Thanks

I'm no expert but I imagine the big players need to jump through a lot of hoops and get through a lot of red tape to be able to jump in with Oriole as there's not a great deal of precedent. I imagine that takes time with confidence building and paperwork so it's never going to be immediate.
There's a massive lack of new good finds so it's blinding obvious there will be eyes on this

The problem is footfall. We're like an old high street shop that is trying to exist in a recession and compete against the out of town shopping parks.
Nobody is around so the coffers get smaller. Gold and miners still not quite on the agenda whilst the fed keeps everyone guessing.
Looked at my mortgage today, that will expire this year, going to go from 1700 to 3100 per month! I'm in trouble and I'm sure others are too. It's that type of looming disaster that will put gold and miners in favour. Not good is all good in this neck of the woods

I think there has been ample evidence of a lucrative industry emerging in their country which they stand to gain quite considerably from. I don't think it would be in their best interests to frustrate the process when it's likely to turn into something prosperous.
