@Wolfie, let's be precise about the terms, because "dilution" means something very specific in this game.

1. The "£4m for 50%" Deal (Equity vs. Asset)

You are confusing PLC Dilution with Project Earn-in.

PLC Dilution: If Oriole had tried to raise US$4m (£3m+) via a placing back when the share price was ~0.15p, they would have had to issue 2 billion new shares. That would have wiped us out.

The BCM Deal: Instead, BCM put up the cash. The share count remained the same.

The Logic: Owning 50% of a funded, drilling, multi-million ounce project is worth infinitely more than owning 100% of a dormant licence we can't afford to drill. BCM took the risk; we kept the upside. That is smart leverage, not "bad business."

2. "Real Revenue" vs. Explorer Valuation

You are judging a junior explorer by producer metrics.

We trade the EV/oz (Enterprise Value per Ounce) curve. The market re-rates the share price based on ounces in the ground, long before a mine is built.

The $1m bonus isn't "revenue"—it's non-dilutive working capital. It keeps the lights on without asking shareholders for cash.

3. The "5 Year" Funding Gap

You assume Oriole intends to build a $200m mine solo. That is rarely the endgame here.

The Strategy: Prove the scale (1.5Moz+), get the licence, and then either sell the asset to a major or let BCM/another partner fund the construction (Capex).

Other Cash Sources: We still have the Senala asset to sell and potential royalty streams. We have levers to pull that don't involve a placing.

Summary:

I would rather own 50% of a monster deposit drilled with someone else's money than 100% of a unfunded dream. The BCM deal saved this company from massive equity dilution—it didn't cause it.

All the while we're making higher highs and higher lows in a lovely upward trend. Lovely jubly

The reason we want the share price to rise gently up to fair value is to stop traders, like your good self, from rinsing new purchasers and putting them off something really positive.

The REAL reason it doesn't climb is because we are waiting for the ability to pull all this gold out of the ground. Until that is possible, the jurisdiction risk applies.

You can worry "yourself" about the warrants all you like, but you clearly don't understand the whole situation.

Centamin (Egypt)

Project: Sukari Gold Mine.

First Mover Status: Centamin was the absolute pioneer in modern Egypt. They spent years arguing that the Nubian Shield held massive gold potential when no one else was looking.

The Event: They received their exploitation lease in 2005.

Share Price Reaction:

The "Penny" Era: Before the licence and resource proof, they traded for pennies (similar to Oriole's current level).

Post-Licence: The grant of the licence allowed them to secure financing and build the mine. Over the next 5 years (2005–2010), as they moved into construction and production, the share price went from ~10p to over 150p.

Lesson for Oriole: This is the "Dream Scenario." For a first mover, the licence converts a "science project" into a strategic national asset. Once the mine is built, the company transitions from a volatile explorer to a dividend-paying major (Centamin is now a FTSE 250 company).

Global Atomic (Niger) – The "District Play"

Project: Dasa Uranium Project.

First Mover Status: While Niger had uranium, the Dasa discovery was a new, high-grade deposit that required a new mining permit in a specific district.

The Event: Mining Permit granted in December 2020.

Share Price Reaction:

The Run: The stock moved from ~$0.60 to ~$2.50+ over the following year.

The Catalyst: The licence grant allowed them to release a Feasibility Study and start securing bank funding.

Lesson for Oriole: The licence is the "Key to the Bank." You cannot get project finance (or a big JV buyout) without it. Once the licence is in hand, the "Discount Valuation" applied by institutional investors starts to disappear.

The thing to remember is, neither of these were looking for gold tat a time where it is experiencing a secular bull market, so the upside has the potential to be explosive

Basic Maths: Why you are wrong about the "Billion"

@BUYSELLREPEAT, you are confusing volume with value. Let’s look at the actual terms of those warrants (Source: RNS Nov 2025 & Jan 2026):

1. The Number Yes, there are approx 870 million warrants outstanding. You are right on the count, but wrong on the threat.  

2. The Strike Price (The Critical Detail) Almost all of these ~870m warrants (issued in the Nov 2025 Placing/WRAP) have an exercise price of 0.36p.  

3. The Profit Calculation Current Share Price: 0.36p Warrant Cost to Exercise: 0.36p Broker Fees: ~£15+

Profit = ZERO.

Why on earth would anyone exercise a warrant at 0.36p to sell at 0.36p? They would lose money on fees. The people "banking profits" today are the holders of the old 0.25p warrants (which just expired/converted). That is a completely different group.

4. The Real Trigger (The Accelerator) These 0.36p warrants have an Accelerator Clause. If the share price trades above 0.60p for 10 days, the company can force conversion.  

Translation: These holders aren't here to scalp half a penny at 0.36p. They are locked in for the ride to 0.60p+.  

Summary:

Selling now? No. (No profit).

Cap at 0.36p? No. (It's the floor, not the ceiling).

Overhang? No. It's a rocket booster that only kicks in when we pass 0.60p.

Let's cut through the noise and look at the actual data, rather than "feelings" about past investments.

1. The "Warrant Overhang" Myth @BUYSELLREPEAT is right about one thing: warrants do create churn. But let's look at the specifics. The 107m warrants at 0.25p were exercised earlier this month. Those holders are currently banking a ~50% profit. That is the selling pressure we are seeing at 0.36p/0.37p. The Signal: The fact that the price is holding firm at 0.36p despite ~100m cheap shares hitting the market is incredibly bullish. It means the market is absorbing that supply with ease. Once this specific tranche is cleared (likely very soon), the handbrake is off. The next warrants are priced at 0.36p+ and into the 0.60s. The "ceiling" is lifting.

2. The "Years Away / Dilution" Argument @Wolfie, you say "years away from revenue" and "dilution coming." You are ignoring the BCM deal structure.

Dilution? BCM is paying for this drilling, not us. They are spending US$4m to earn their stake. That is non-dilutive exploration funding.

Revenue? We have a US$1m bonus payment from BCM due the moment we hit the 1Moz resource mark across Mbe. With the current resource at 870k oz and today's MB01-N results proving depth and strike extension, we are likely months (Q1 update), not years, away from that cash trigger.

3. The Drill Results (Today's Reality) You don't hit 28.60 g/t Au in a "garbage" lifestyle company. We just confirmed the system extends to 160m depth and is open. We have confirmed continuity between the North and South targets. We are moving from an Exploration Target to a JORC Resource in a matter of weeks.

If warrants are being excised then that's a positive, it means people buying into today can see less of an overhang. But at the end of the day, it's nothing to worry about when you KNOW the value in the ground that just keeps growing and growding. The price of gold itself is eroding any warrant overhang all on its own!!!

In October 2025, Oriole Resources unveiled a transformational JORC-compliant resource of 870,000 ounces at 1.09 g/t Au at the MB01-South prospect, part of its flagship Mbe licence in central Cameroon. This figure is even more impressive when you realise it comes from just one of several gold targets along a 12.5 km mineralised corridor.

Update (Jan 2026): The company is moving fast. The 2,950m maiden drill campaign at MB01-North is now roughly 70% complete, and the results released today (26 Jan) are proving the geological model is robust.

Key Highlights from Today:

Bonanza Grades: Hole MBDD027 hit 16.10m at 2.49 g/t Au, including a spectacular 1.00m at 28.60 g/t Au.

Depth Confirmed: We now have confirmation that the system extends to at least 160m vertical depth and remains open.

Consistency: The North target is showing the same "wide zones + high-grade kickers" signature as the South deposit.

The Significance:

Oriole previously defined an exploration target of 370,000–605,000 ounces for MB01-North. With these new high-grade, deep intercepts, confidence is high that we are heading toward the upper end of that range. Once this programme concludes in Q1 2026 and the resource is calculated, Mbe is on track to become a 1.2–1.5 million ounce project.

That scale instantly places Oriole in the league of Africa’s credible mid-tier explorers. Even more importantly for the balance sheet: the JV with BCM includes a $1 million bonus payment the moment 1 Moz is confirmed across the Mbe licence. That’s real cash — triggered by the success we are seeing in the drill core right now.

The scale is becoming undeniable. In an underexplored district, with multiple parallel anomalies, and gold confirmed at depth, Mbe is emerging as a cornerstone asset. The market has yet to price in this rapid growth, but with the resource update looming, it soon will.
