I can't see either Putin or the west do too much from here. There will be token sanctions and calls for energy supplies to be diversified away from Russia, but there'll be no oil price blowout that can happen from a full blown war and the economies will continue recovering, albeit with higher inflation. That's a fine place for CPI to be in. 40s after the results and when the turnaround takes good hold in 2022 and into 2023, we should see a breakout above the 2 year range that CPI is stuck in.

HBR - up 4% ENQ - up 7% TLW - up 8% GKP - up 6% BP - up 2% - all oilers the last time I checked. Airline stocks - IAG and EZY are down on the day. Sure, you have to laugh.

Well, in case you haven't noticed, NoFear posts negative sounding articles when he's out of a share and positive sounding ones when he's long and is pumping it to kingdom come. I don't even need to try too hard to read between the lines with him. Bless him - he doesn't know when a piece of news is really market moving for a company's share. We all live and learn.

Yes, that market moving news article that NoFear posted on Sunday to warn us about impending doom at Capita for underpaying wages in Scotland, and resulting in non-quantified liabilities - that seems to be the trigger.

Ditto on my screen - all consumer discretionary/economically sensitive sectors are moving up. Transport/Real Estate/Oil & Gas/Industrials - That's generally a sign that the near-term economic weakness may be wearing off.

@GMan, if there was ever was good old fashioned accumulation, that was one. Weak hands out and new leg up. The positives are all there for the market to see Organic revenue growth in 2021, sustainable Free Cashflow generation from 2022 as the dragdown effect of pension contributions go away and pickup in services spending in the economy as the recovery takes hold. All in all - it's a great story for 2022 when we get steer on dividends.

And there we have it - new 52-week high and trades above 52p were printed!!!

I'll pass- transportation sector is still a bit of a hit and miss for me. I'll just stick to an unnoticed gem in the market, CPI. Maybe now the accumulation is done and it's been primed for a breakout. About 9 million shares traded and good to go now.

Who knows whether 52p is a ceiling for any period of time - the share is certainly ripe for a breakout after consolidating between 47 and 51p for the past 7 weeks. We can certainly hope it will break out to new highs today. Cheers to that.

@NoFear - I have only accused you of being thin-skinned, self-promoting (please click upvote if you like my posts - most of them pointless) and lack in any kind of analysis. Obvously English isn't you first language and its difficult for you to write more than one line that's clear to your intent. If you think these kind of historical run of the mill articles will have any impact on the share price for anything more than an hour, you really need to learn about how the market works before investing.

You claim to keep selling out of CPI and never post again, but you keep coming back and post articles that have ZERO interest/value to the market from a valuation viewpoint and claim that you're doing god's work for CPI shareholders. I haven't heard of bigger tripe than this. At least you've stopped hourly volume updates that is of zero value to me and I'd wager to any real long term investor. You're just an everyday pumper (or dumper) depending on what your trading position in a share is.

I'm pretty happy with my holdings in Capita and will look to sell when it's £1 plus next year. I have mates that work in Capita and not that they have any market moving inside information to share with him, but its good to hear about anedcdotal improvements in their division within Capita. The correlation between GDP growth and capita's higher share price valuation is high and will benefit those who have a view of more than a few days to make a few % points and then trade out. Unlike you - I don't like to pump and dump. How's your share sale in CPI a few months ago in the mid-40s and investing those trading proceeds in Harbour at £4 plus working for you?

Mmm, No. This is just a modification to the existing contract due to run till 2025. There's a tender out to select a new provider after 2025, but that's not what the contract in the link ia bout.

Well, we know Kraut baby and DBNO are an utter waste of space, but NF tries to go one up on them with his incessant posts quoting Buy/Sell volumes and with his 'Happening Now' tripe. He wrote his usual on the CPI board saying he sold out and was leaving that board. I wrote we're not missing much with the tripe (IMO) that he posts. He then got abusive in a post on this board last week along the lines of 'I hope you get it up your backside and it hurts you like f*cK'. I reported him for being abusive and got that post removed. He re-posted that same message with a challenge stating since I got that removed, he'd post it again and again. He got himself banned for a couple of days back then and it looks like he did again. You get what you deserve.

If you're posting on these anon boards, be ready to get criticised. Being thin-skinned doesn't help!!! And neither does constant attention-seeking behaviour "Upvote my post if you like it". SK/DBNO post constant nonsense, but at least they're not abusive.

No Fear's posts are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Just read the amount of tripe he posts on the HBR board. I'd rather he doesn't post his daily BS here about Buy/Sell trading volumes as if they are an ironclad indicator of share price movements.
Now that he's sold out of CPI for the 100th time, I take that to be a positive leading indicator for CPI. LMAO...His current favourite HBR has 85% gas production hedged for 2021 and 2022 at just over a quarter of the current spot price and he keeps ramping on that board quoting spot prices. You'd think a spot of analytical thinking wouldn't harm.
I'm sanguine about CPI's prospects in the near to medium and historical correlation of CPI's share price with GDP growth is strong and we're on a strong footing on that front.

It's guesswork to accurately project what H1 FCF would be and I'm with Pelle that a circa 50 or 60 mill variance would make much of a difference. L3 is correct in stating that adjustments will need to be made for Malaysia production's saleable oil volumes and the FCF share with BP for Magnus 75%. But even with these adjustments, at a 68 average for 2021, we should end up with FCF north of $550 mill with one quarter of GE production included.

We should be very pleased with the strength that Enquest has shown in the past few weeks and that bodes well for a breakout to new highs once Brent settles down after the ost recent bout of volatility. I look forward to hearing more from the management in the H1 results next week.

Well, it's not a new contract. The £558 million contract was awarded back in 2012 and was scheduled to complete on 31/7/21. As announced in the H1 results, Capita got a 2 year extension for this piece along with another one for the Northern Ireland pensions agency - TCV of £161 million. Nonetheless, It's still fabulous.

L3Trader has only finished analysing half of page 3 of the earnings report so far and we all need to bear with him until he gets to a quarter orf page four, and his expert analysis will then be shipped to Tom8080 for further refined analysis. This will then be followed by multiple questions about Enquest to this board in a follow-up post in the next few days.
