JC - Hmm, a placing?? Now, that's new I must admit!! Is that to go back to good old Capita days and buy other companies - I don't see that happening in anything other than a dire financial situation for CPI? It's good that you're looking at a wall of worry though - stocks inevitably can climb better when there's a wall of worry enveloping them - that's the optimist in me!! Only 3 days out now

Can I ask what's with this mystical 30p benchmark that CPI needs to be at such that its prospects from the upcoming HY22 results on Thursday will all be but guaranteed to be incredible? Is that the sell-side saying this OR is it the shorts?

Have the 30p'ers noted what's happening with value shares this year? RR/SYNT/STLA/BAB being some examples...The market needs to see actual signs of progress towards sustainable free cash flow on Thursday and I'm optimistic on that count. We'll see soon, won't we?

Value stocks are bouncing hard early in 2023 here in the UK. Take Rolls Royce today, for example. I'm convinced that this is the year of Value stocks and CPI is in the sweet. Manufacturing is rollicking this year, and value added services companies like CPI should do phenomenally well too. The market is under-appreciating how well CPI could do this year and in the future. All secured by a strong financial position that CPI is currently in.

Bring on next Thursday!!

Lol..it's always the case with Aim. I'd have loved to see bigger volumes today, but a good bounce is a bounce!!! and that too on a general stocks down day. I'm upto my neck in CPI and can only but nibble a bit, but all signs are pointing to a news leak and a great set of results next Thursday. The optimist in me says Dividend then OR certainly with H1 results in August. I think CPI will be a fabulous stock play, even if a recession pans out in the US/UK. I still recommend a Buy on CPI...

I'd like to see some more trading volume come back to the share - that shows there's strong interest in the share and I'm optimistic we'll get that in the lead-up to and after the results announcement in 3 weeks!!

30p nearly hit - 29.98 highs per my terminal. I even asked Aim for a loan yesterday to buy a bundle more at their fictional price - there's been radio silence since!!

We havent closed above 30p since the middle of February last year (nearly a year) - look forward to this happening in the coming days prior to 2022 results annoucement as news leaks about how good the results were and how good the future is looking. All IMO.

I nibbled on a few today with the drop to near 29p.

@Nic62 - good move yesterday to buy some. I nibbled on some as well - I'm very highly leveraged to CPI's performance, but my conviction levels are high. The market, sometimes, doesn't value companies right and this is one of those occasions - 3 weeks to go for 2022 results annoucement. Any further falls into the 27s or lower - I'll keep buying.

the daily trading noise and keep your firmly on this ball (avoid recession), the medium term outlook is simply explosive for Capita Stay the course and don't drop this for small pennies - all IMO.
