Ref your defined benefit pension, I was told never to touch that frozen pot, however when you look into the finer details i.e if anything happens to you 50% of the pot value stays within the scheme and your dependents then get a monthly payment it doesn't look so good. Moved mine to BMN in January 160k and broke the 500k barrier today. It is worth considering.

You got it bang on FB, just sold down ATM to buy more BMN, will get back in here, but I reckon short-term BMN's a better bet.
